[Objective] To profile expression of S100A4 during stepwise esophageal carcinogenesis and to analyze the relationship to the series of pathological factors.[Methods] Paraffin embedded tissue array with immunohistochemistry methods were adopted to exam the expression pattern of S100A4 in 83 esophageal carcinomas(EC),38 precancerous lesions and 9 noncancerous esophageal tissues,and the correlations between S100A4 expression and EC invasiveness and metastasis were analyzed.[Results] The expression rates of S100A4 in EC,premalignant and noncancerous tissues twere,59.0% 26.3% and 22.2%,the expression rate of EC was significantly higher than those of noncancerous and precancerous(P0.05),while statistical differences was found between the noncancerous and precancerous group(P0.05).The expression rate of adenocarcinoma(80.0%) was significantly higher than that of squamous cell carcinoma(54.4%),and the rate of female(84.6%) was significantly higher than that of the male(54.3%)(P0.05).The protein expression was not statistically related to patient age and tumor differentiation and size(P0.05).The expression rate of lymph node metastatic group(70.5%) was significantly higher than that of non lymph node metastaticgroup(46.2%),(P0.05).[Conclusions] The expression of S100A4 is an important molecular event in esophageal carcinogenesis,and progression.
Objective To explore the relationship of body mass index and skinfold thickness with coronary heart disease(CHD)to provide evidence for early intervention of the disease.Methods International anthropometric measuring method was adopted to measure the height,body mass and 4 items of skinfold thickness in 310 Dalian urban adults(150 healthy males,150 females)and CHD patients(160 males,150 females),and obesity was determined by body fat(F%)and body mass index(BMI).Results The mean values of 4 items of skinfold thickness,F% and BMI in CHD patients were higher than those in healthy adults.By the F% method of obesity determination,the obesity rates of healthy adults and male CHD patients were 20% and 56.25% respectively,those in females were 10% and 30% respectively.By the MBI method of obesity determination,the obesity rates of healthy adults and male CHD patients were 18% and 53.75% respectively,those in female were 8% and 26% respectively.Conclusion Skinfold thickness and obesity rates of CHD patients were higher than those of healthy adults.
目的采用直接测量的方法,对大连地区汉族成人群体指长比进行调查分析,以明确大连地区汉族成人指长比均值的分布特点,为国内开展此项研究积累资料。方法抽取大连市430名(男220,女210)健康汉族成人,采用人体测量学方法测量了其左右手第2~5指长度(掌侧),计算各手指间的指长比值,并作性别差异和地区差异比较。结果 1.指长比:大连汉族群体2D∶3D、2D∶4D、2D∶5D、3D∶4D、3D∶5D、4D∶5D值左右侧男性分别为0.899 5、0.901 1、0.965 0、0.965 9、1.207 4、1.206 3、1.073 1、1.072 2,1.343 1、1.339 4、1.252 2、1.249 9;女性分别为0.906 5、0.907 9、0.976 6、0.975 3、1.223 0、1.222 6、1.078 1、1.075 4、1.352 7、1.350 2、1.255 1、1.255 8。男女性均表现为3D∶5D>4D∶5D>2D∶5D>3D∶4D>2D∶4D>2D∶3D。2.性差:左右手指长比均值女性高于男性,并且2D∶3D、2D∶4D和2D∶5D有显著性差异(P<0.05)。3.2D∶4D的百分比分布:男女性的左右手都以2D<4D占主导,2D>4D次之,2D=4D最少。但2D>4D的百分比女性明显大于男性。4.2D∶4D地区差:大连汉族群体男女性均表现为低指长比,明显低于英格兰、英国利物浦、匈牙利、波兰和西班牙,高于其他地区(国家)及民族。结论大连汉族群体指长比有其独特性,2D∶4D具有明显的性别差异和地区及民族差异。
Objective Polymorphism of 3387 cases of unrelated Han ethnic of Dalian was investigated to develop the human leukocgte antigen(HLA) database of Dalian to contribute to anthropology research.Methods Sequence specific oligonucleotide probes(PCR-SSO) were used and Luminex 100 IS was used to read the data automatically and analyze and conclude the characteristics of DRB1.Results 13 cases of alleles and 90 cases of genotypes were detected in 3387 unrelated Han ethnic of Dalian,the most common allele is HLA- DRB1*15(16.33%),the most common genotype is 09/15.The allele frequency showed no significant difference compared with Nothern Han of China,but the allele frequency showed significant differences compared with Southern Han of China,European,Japanese and Cameroon.Conclusion The allele frequence distribution of Han ethnic of Dalian presented unique character,and the HLA showed area differences.
OBJECTIVE:Allele frequencies and forensic parameters for six miniSTR loci(D10S1248,D14S1434,D22S1045,D4S2364,D2S441 and D1S1677)were analyzed in a population of 173 unrelated Chinese Han population individuals from Northeast China.METHODS:The six miniSTR loci were preformed in two multiplex fluorescent PCR systems.ABI 310 Genetic Analyzer was utilized in capillary electrophoresis and the lengths of allele fragments were analyzed.Genetic data collection and analysis software were used for data collection and genotyping.Statistical analysis was performed to the data.RESULTS:The six miniSTR loci showed a moderate degree of polymorphism in Han population from Northeast China.The observed allele sizes were from 67 bp to 115 bp,and the observed heterozygosity ranged from 0.728 to 0.827.The combined power of discrimination and the combined power of exclusion for the six miniSTR loci in Northeast China were 0.999 99,and 0.993 31,respectively.CONCLUSION:The six miniSTR showed a moderate genetic polymorphism in Han population from northeast of China.Due to their small size of PCR amplicon,the six miniSTR could be useful supplements to the CODIS STRs,and they would be useful in population genetics and forensic analysis.
Human leucocyte antigen(HLA) is also called major histocompatibility complex(MHC).It is a group of genes with an extremely high polymorphism and linked malconformation.Recently,the applications of HLA have extended to the fields of illness correlation,organ transplantation,immune response,forensic medicine,anthropology and so on.The genetic structure and polymorphism of HLA,and correlation between genetic polymorphism of HLA-Ⅱalleles and essential hypertension(EH) are reviewed in this paper.
