New measurements of the T20 component of tensor analyzing power in the reaction γd→ppπ− for photon energies 400−700 MeV are presented. The experiment was carried out on an internal tensor-polarized gas deuterium target of the VEPP-3 electron storage ring in 2023 with the use of tagged quasi-real photons and two-proton coincidence. For determination of T20, the asymmetry caused by a change of the sign of the tensor polarization of the deuteron target was measured. The new data are compared with the results of theoretical calculations based on the quasi-free approximation including πN and NN rescattering effects.
The experiment on photodisintegration of tensor polarized deuteron is in progress. It is carried out at VEPP-3 storage ring using the internal polarized gas target technique. The component T20 of the tensor analyzing power is obtained by measuring the target polarization asymmetry in the photon energy range up to 1600MeV. The energy of photons is defined by the system that tags nearly real photons developed at the Budker Institute of Nuclear Physics (BINP).
At the BINP, the development, production and launch at JINR of a system for transferring a beam from the Booster to the Nuclotron of the NIKA complex was completed. The article discusses the equipment of monitoring and control subsystems, as well as describes the principles and composition of a software package based on the TANGO platform, designed to perform engineering manipulations with individual elements and suitable for work during acceleration sessions.
— The review presents the experiments performed with the KEDR detector at the e^ + e^ - collider VEPP-4M in the energy range of √(s) = 1.84–3.88 GeV. The cross section of e^ + e^ - annihilation to hadrons was measured at 22 points of this range and the search for narrow resonances was conducted below 3.1 GeV. The masses of J / . -0emψ and ψ (2S) mesons were measured with a record accuracy better than 3 ×10^ - 6 ; their partial and total widths were determined. Measurements of the tau lepton mass and masses of charged and neutral D mesons were performed with high precision. The measurements of the ψ (3770) parameters are discussed, and attention is drawn to some inconsistency of the procedure employed by the Particle Data Group for determining its parameters.
New results for the T20-component of the tensor-analyzing power of the incoherent negative pion photoproduction are presented. The experiment was performed for the electron beam energy of 800 MeV at the VEPP-3 storage ring in 2021. To extract the T20-component, we used asymmetry with respect to the change in the sign of the tensor polarization of the deuteron target. Identification of the reaction events was carried out by the detection of two protons in coincidence. Experimental data were compared with the results of statistical simulation, considering the interaction between the NN and πN subsystems in the final state of the reaction.
We present the study of the decay J/ψ → ρπ . The results are based on of 5.2 million J/ψ events collected by the KEDR detector at the VEPP-4M collider. The branching fractions are measured to be ℬ ( J/ψ → ρπ ) = (2 . 072 ± 0 . 017 ± 0 . 062) ∙ 10 − 2 and ℬ ( J/ψ → π + π − π 0 ) = (1 . 878 ± 0 . 013 ± 0 . 051) ∙ 10 − 2 , where the first uncertainties are statistical and the second systematic. Our results are more precise than the previous relative measurements.
The Center for Collective Use “Siberian Center for Synchrotron and Terahertz Radiation” provides users from various organizations with the opportunity to use modern analytical techniques using synchrotron radiation beams for a wide range of research work. In this paper, we describe the current state of development of a prototype detector for the study of fast processes (DIMEX) based on a silicon microstrip sensor. The silicon microstrip sensor is made of n-type silicon with p-type implants in the form of strips. Aluminum contacts with microwelding pads at the ends are applied to the strips along the entire length. The signals from the strips are read using a DMXS6A integrated circuit specially designed for this project, which contains six recording electronic channels with a dark-current compensation circuit at the input, four integrators, 32 analog memory cells, and an analog shift register. Each sensor strip is connected to the guard ring through a 400-Ω resistor and to the recording-channel input through a 100-kΩ resistor. This resistive divider at the input of the recording channel makes it possible to adapt the dynamic range of the recording microcircuit integrator to the full range of photon-flux changes in synchrotron-radiation output channel no. 8 of the VEPP-4M storage ring equipped with a nine-pole wiggler with a field of 1.95 T as the source of synchrotron radiation. Measurements of the dynamic range of the DIMEX-Si prototype show that the maximal flux that can be recorded in the linear mode exceeds 105 photons/channel from each electron bunch in the storage ring. The ability of the detector to detect signals from bunches following after 55 ns in the multi-bunch mode, which simulates the operation of the 4+-generation synchrotron-radiation source Siberian Circular Photon Source (SKIF) under construction in the Novosibirsk region, on which such a detector is planned to be used, is also demonstrated.

A kicker magnet has been developed for the NICA accelerator complex at the JINR (Dubna) for ejecting ions into the beamline that connects the Booster and Nuclotron synchrotrons. An asymmetric design of the magnet without a ferromagnetic core is used to obtain the required magnetic field of 0.17–0.18 T in the region of the extracted beam. A power-supply system is proposed for the kicker magnet; it is based on two generators with different polarities, which are connected from opposite ends. This kicker magnet has made it possible to successfully extract He and Fe ions from the NICA Booster in accordance with the specified parameters.
Using the 1.32 pb^-1 statistics collected at the J/ψ peak with the KEDR detector at the VEPP-4M e^+e^- collider, we measured the branching fractions of J/ψ meson decays to the final states 2( π ^+π ^-)π ^0 , K^+K^-π ^+π ^-π ^0 , 2( π ^+π ^-) and K^+K^-π ^+π ^- . The results obtained for the decays J/ψ→ 2( π ^+π ^-)π ^0 , J/ψ→ K^+K^-π ^+π ^-π ^0 contradict the measurements performed by other groups in the last century, but agree well with recent results of BABAR and BESIII collaborations.

VEPP-4M is an electron positron collider equipped with the universal KEDR detector for HEP experiments in the beam energy range from 1 GeV to 6 GeV. A unique feature of VEPP-4M is the high precision beam energy calibration by resonant polarization technique which allows conducting of interesting experiments despite the low luminosity of the collider. Recently we have started new luminosity acquisition run above 2 GeV. The hadron cross section was measured from 2.3 GeV to 3.5 GeV has been done. The luminosity run for gamma-gamma physics has been started. The luminosity at ψ(1S)-meson has been obtained. For the beam energy calibration the laser polarimeter is used. The paper discusses recent results from VEPP-4M collider.
A new system for measuring the position of the beam in a pulsed transport channel from the VEPP-3 storage ring to the VEPP-4M collider is discussed, which provides measurement of the position and intensity of an electron or positron beam in one span. For reliable operation of the experimental complex, it is necessary to continuously monitor the beam trajectory in a non-destructive manner, as well as to measure the possible losses of the beam charge. In 2018, new sensors and new electronics of the beam position measurement system were developed, manufactured, and installed in the transportation channel, which provide much greater accuracy compared to the old system. In the new system, it was possible to almost completely eliminate interference and to achieve measurement accuracy better than 0.02 mm, which is more than enough for optimal tuning of the channel optics and achieving high bypass efficiency. The design of the sensor, the structure and the main features of the construction of electronics are described, the accuracy of measurements is analyzed, and some results of the operation of the new system in the channel are given.
This paper presents new results for the [Formula: see text]-component of the tensor analyzing power of the reaction [Formula: see text] in the photon energy range of [Formula: see text]. The experimental statistics accumulated in 2013 at the VEPP-3 accelerator-storage complex is used. The reaction events are identified by the coincidence registration of the proton and two [Formula: see text]-quanta from the decay of the neutral pion. To determine the [Formula: see text]-component, the asymmetry of the yields with respect to the change of sign of the tensor polarization of the deuterium target is measured. The experimental results are compared with the theoretical calculations in which the MAID 2007 model is used as the elementary pion–nucleon photoproduction amplitude and contributions from the pion–nucleon and nucleon–nucleon rescattering are taken into account.
