Objective: To observe the effect of taohong siwu decoction on serum vascular endothelial growth factor( VEGF) of patients with ad- vanced breast cancer. Methods: 90 cases were randomly divided into three groups,taohong siwu decoction observation group,xiaoyao powder control group and simple chemotherepy control group,taohong siwu decoction group ( 30cases) was given taohong siwu decoction and chemothera- py,xiaoyao powder group ( 30cases) was given xiaoyao powder and chemotherapy,control group ( 30cases) was simply given chemo- therapy,each group was given the corresponding medicine for six treatment courses,Serum VEGF of each group was determined by ELISA method. Results: There was no difference on serum VEGF levels among three groups before treated,serum VEGF levels of three groups were decreased obviously after treated,the effect of taohong siwu decoction group was the most obvious,there was significant difference be- tween taohong siwu decoction group and the other two groups. Conclusion: Taohong siwu decoction combining with chemotherapy can effectively reduce serum VEGF level of patients with advanced breast cancer,blocking angiogenesis and inhibiting metastasis of tumor.

Objective:To observe the protective effects of Chinese medicine mixture AA-3 on pancreatic structure and function of sever acute pancreatitis.Methods:SD rats were randomly divided into three groups,sham group,model and Chinese medicine AA-3 groups.Sever acute pancreatitis models were copied by Aho's method.Fluorescent microscope speed test system was established to observe the microvascular changes of pancreas after modeling 24h,serum and ascites amylase,pathological changes of the pancreas and its ultrastructure were determined.Results:There was different blood flow rate in the pancreas microcirculation arteries and veins in the same rat with sever acute pancreatitis,the blood flow rate in the pancreas microcirculation arteries and veins was uniforms in AA-3 group rats.Pancreatic structure was damaged obviuosly in sever acute pancreatitis rats,the damage was significantly improved in AA-3 group.Conclusion:Chinese medicine mixture AA-3 can obviuosly protect pancreatic structure and function of rats with sever acute pancreatitis.
