In this article, the author combines with the construction situation to explore deck real-time monitoring in the application of construction quality for the RCC dam. The theory and application of real-time monitoring plays an important practical signifycance to guarantee the deck RCC dam construction quality, which has been proved by practice.

The conventional concrete construction for Tekeze Hydropower Station is fully conducted with machinery.Some new technologies are used in concrete temperature control,the formwork construction for deep-hole bracket behind the dam,the formwork construction for arc door hinge,the second phase concrete construction of fixed wheel gate,the construction of the left bank thrust pier and the construction of intake.On the other hand,some new materials,such as anti-shrink epoxy mortar,concrete crack treatment materials,high-performance non-shrink cementitious grouting materials and non-disassembled metal formwork net are applied.
