Objective:To understand the pollution status of avian influenza virus in environment in Yangzhou city during 2012-2020, so as to provide the basis for the prevention and control of avian influenza in Yangzhou city. Methods:The environmental samples in Yangzhou from 2012 to 2020 were collected to detect nucleic acid of avian influenza virus by real-time fluorescent PCR. Excel 2016 and SPSS 22.0 software were used for data summary and statistical analysis. Results:A total of 270 FluA positive specimens were detected from 3 537 environmental samples, with an overall positive rate of 7.63%. The number of positive samples of H5, H7, H9, and mixed infection were 14, 3, 158 and 95, respectively. There were statistically significant differences in the positive rates in different years ( x2=37.06, P<0.01), different months ( x2=97.80, P<0.01), different regions ( x2=52.36, P<0.01), different monitoring sites ( x2=330.67, P<0.01) and in different specimen types ( x2=371.16, P<0.01 ). Conclusions:There existed avian influenza virus contamination in environment in Yangzhou and H9 subtype and mixed contamination were predominant. The risks were mainly winter and spring, and live poultry markets in urban and rural areas.
Objective To analyze epidemic characteristics and trends of infectious disease and provide scientific basis for the prevention and control. Methods Descriptive epidemiology was adopted for analyzing epidemic features of notifiable diseases in Bincheng district of Binzhou city from2 004 to 2009.Results Communicable diseases, including 6 229 cases of 16 categories in class B and 3 755 cases of 9 categories in class C but no case in class A,were reported in Bincheng district of Binzhou. The annual incidence rates were 232.92 to 315.75/100 000 with an increasing trends. The annual incidence of blood and sexual transmission diseases was 56.82-114.15 per 100 000 accounting for 45.66% of total cases of class B.The rate of respiratory infectious disease was 30.88-95.42/100 000 accounting for 36.70%,that of intestinal infectious disease was 14.77-43.31/100 000 accounting for 14.76%,that of zoonotic disease and arthropod-borne disease was 0.98-16.96/100 000 accounting for 2.84%,of neonatal tetanus was 0-95.42/100 000 accounting for 0.03%.Conclusion It is necessary to strengthen the measure for hepatitis B and pulmonary tuberculosis control and surveillance and comprehensive intervention for influenza A H1N1,AIDS and sexual transmission diseases and protecting people's health.
Objective To further understand the cockroach population, density distribution and seasonal fluctuation regular pattern in Shouguang City, and to provide scientific basis for controlling and preventing cockroach-vectored diseases. Methods In accordance with the Guide for National Vector Biomoni-toring Program(Trial),we conducted continuous dynamic monitoring on the cockroaches in Shouguang City and suburban areas from 2007 to 2009.Results For the year of 2007,2008 and 2009,the averaged density of cockroaches were 0.08/unit,0.09/unit and 0.11/unit,respectively.The main category were the German cockroaches which reached its greatest density between May and October and were primarily distributed in agricultural markets and hotels. Conclusion There was an increasing tendency of cockroach distribution density in Shouguang city from 2007 to 2009.The main seasons performing pre-vention and control should be June through September period, and the main areas should be agricultural markets and hotels. Moreover,a integrated control strategy should be conducted focusing on the living habits of German cockroaches
