This paper is an attempt to study degradation of acephate at different light intensity and various pH solution.The results indicated that acephate was stable in acidic water,while the degradation rate accelerated with the rising pH .At the room temperature, under dark conditions the degradation rate constants K of acephate in pH=4.0,pH=7.0,pH=9.0 waters were 5.4×10-3、2.24×10-2、6.49×10-2d-1 and the corresponding half life were 128.36d、30.94d、10.68d. Under the sun's rays the degradation rate constants K of acephate in pH=4.0,pH=7.0,pH=9.0 waters were 3.92×10-2、4.09×10-2、6.14×10-2h-1 and the corresponding half life were 17.68h、16.95h、11.29h .
The degradation lapse of organophosphorus pesticides acquires more and more attention.Degradation lapse of two organophosphorus pesticide(acephate and dichlorvos) in the environment were introduced.And the research results of photodegradation were discussed.The research trend of photodegradation of two organophosphorus pesticides was put forward.
