A series of questions during the designing are discussed in this paper.Following these questions,the core design of C8051F SOC MCUs and CP2102,a new USB to UART bridge is introduced.The design successfully solves the main issues,such as the confliction in MCU and the data collision in bus.It improves the stability and real-time performances of the system and makes the system suitable for various long-distance real-time surveillance networks.
Serial real-time clock chip S-3530A is of the characters of low working voltage,high accuracy,and uses serial I2C interface to communication and so on.We not only introduced the principle of work for this clock chip,but also gave the communication interface with hardware circuit and the software communication design of this clock chip and the C8051F040 MCU
In this paper,the limitations of bit arbitration mode of CAN bus is analyzed.In order to overcome these limitations,we design and implement a communication experiment of CAN bus based on C8051F MCU.By changing the time-delay of nodes competing with each other on the bus,all the nodes can equally share the bus.Furthermore,it improves the stability and real-time performances of the system.The method can be widely applied into the real time communication applications in a variety of industrial control systems based on CAN bus.
Slope monitoring is a important part for dam safety monitoring,and the automatic slope monitoring is necessary.Aim at the features of slope monitoring and the sensors used in slope monitoring,we design a slope-security monitoring module of dam based on CAN Bus-mastering system.The module takes C8051f040 as CPU,AD620 as amplifier and AD7710 as the AD converter chip,it also contains design of anti-jamming,preventing lightening and moisture and adaptation of environment.Experiment indicate the module can meet the requirements of the water system,and the performances as adaptation of environment will be certificated when used in the slope monitoring of Lasiwa Dam.

A kind of multi-master and multi-functional surveillance system based on CAN is designed.Following the discussion about the main issues of CAN system design,a mixed bus architecture,CAN associated with RS-485/422,is introduced.The core design is C8051F SOC MCUs and CP2102,a new USB to UART bridge.The result of implementation shows that this system successfully solves the main issues,for example,the bottleneck in data transmission,data collision and synchronization.The high real-time ability and stability make this design suitable for various long-distance real-time surveillance networks.
