Gastric cancer is one of the most common malignant tumors of the digestive tract in China. Patients with advanced malignancies often develop metastases in liver, lung, adrenal glands, bone, brain, pelvic, retroperitoneal and peritoneal dissemination. Seminal vesicle metastasis is comparatively rare. In this case, a 69-year-old male patient who underwent subtotal gastrectomy with pathologic outcomes showing mucinous adenocarcinoma 11 years ago. In June 2020, she was admitted to hospital due to "progressive dysuria for 3 months, aggravation and urinary catheter for 2 days. With transperineal prostate biopsy, the pathological report showed mucinous adenocarcinoma. Immunohistochemical staining revealed CAM5.2(+), CEA(+), P5.4s(-), PSA(-). Combining with the history, the patient was diagnosed as seminal vesicle metastasis following subtotal gastrectomy. The docetaxel plus with tegafur regimen was given for 4 cycles. Anti-vomiting treatment and supportive therapy were taken during chemotherapy. The patient did not show significant nausea and vomiting, bone marrow suppression, or impaired liver function during the treatment period. The patient showed significant relief of dysuria after 2 cycles of medication, and had normal urination after removing the catheter, with CEA 12.8 ng/ml and CA19-9 508 ng/ml. The retrospective analysis of clinical and pathological data of a patient with malignant thymoma invading venous vessels and intraluminal tumor thrombus expansion could strengthen understanding of the disease. Malignant thymoma vascular invasion is mainly oppression of extravascular mass. The diagnosis depends on imaging, pathology and immunohisto chemical staining. Thymoma is highly invasive and progresses secretively. In treatment radical resection is the key to improve survival, and postoperative radiotherapy is also one of the main factors that prolong the survival of patients.
目的:探讨对乳腺癌患者采取保乳手术联合放射治疗的临床疗效.方法:使用计算机表法对我院在2015年8月到2017年8月收治的66例乳腺癌患者进行均分,实验组和参照组患者各为33例,将采取乳腺癌根治术的患者作为参照组,将采取保乳手术联合放射治疗的患者作为实验组.对2组乳腺癌患者的肿瘤复发情况、生存率、不良反应发生率和转移率作对比.结果:将实验组患者的肿瘤复发率、不良反应发生率与参照组作比较,组间对比证实统计学意义存在(p<0.05);对两组患者的转移率和生存率作比较,组间差异不具有统计学意义(p>0.05).结论:对乳腺癌患者实施保乳手术联合放射治疗,有效的减少不良反应,降低了肿瘤的复发率.
OBJECTIVE: To investigate the efficacy and safety of three-dimensional conformai radiotherapy combined with temozolomide (TMZ) in patients with postoperative brain glioma. METHODS: A total of 29 adult patients with malignant brain glioma were randomly divided into observation group (15 cases) and control group (14 cases), who were treated with three-dimensional conformai radiotherapy combined with TMZ and three-dimensional conformai radiotherapy alone, respectively. The efficacy, survival rate and incidence of adverse reactions of the two groups were observed and compared. RESULTS: The effective power and 1-year survival rate of observation group were 53.3% and 80.0% respectively, which were higher than those of control group (28.6% and 71.4%), but there was no significant difference between groups (P>0.05). The 2-year survival rate of observation group was 66.7% which was significantly higher than that of control group(28.6%), and the difference between groups was statistically significant (P<0.05). No serious adverse reactions occurred in two groups and the rate of adverse events between the two groups had no significant difference (P>0.05). CONCLUSION: Three-dimensional conformai radiotherapy combined with TMZ has a better efficacy than radiotherapy alone for the treatment of brain glioma with mild adverse reactions, so it is worthy of clinical application.
