The paper combed the concept of high-end agriculture and then discussed its practical significance to developing county characteristic agro-products.With Shimen County of Hunan Province for example,the paper analyzed the advantages,disadvantages,opportunities and challenges of county characteristic agro-products by using SWOT method from the high-end agriculture perspective,and then proposed the strategic positioning of high-end characteristic agro-products and relevant development countermeasures.
