Objective To investigate the shock reasons for percutanuous transhepatic puncture biopsy directed by Color Doppler Ultrasound(CDU) in 24 hours. Methods One thousand patients who were operated on percutanuous transhepatic puncture biopsy directed by CDU from March 2006 to August 2007,were observed continuously before and 24 hours after PTCB and the results were analysed, retrospectively. Results The degree of psychological(nervous) tension were positively correlated with the incidence of shock and associated with the patients' somatotypes, professions and educational backgrounds. Conclusions Patients who were nervous before or during the operation would be paied attention to and the shock should be avoided.
