The standard part library is important part of enterprise information resource, which has the significant effect on development and production of products. In this paper, the classification system and information architecture of the standard parts are analyzed. The solution for management of the standard part library based on PDM is proposed. The management of standard part library based on PDM and the integration between the management of standard part library and CAD system are expounded. Finally, the application example for system realization is illustrated.
