Processing of oxidized natural bamboo fiber modification with wool keratin was studied.NaIO4 was selected to oxidize natural bamboo fiber selectively then the oxidized natural bamboo fiber was treated by wool keratin solution.Effect of wool keratin treatment time,concentration,temperature,pH value on natural bamboo fiber weighting percentage and strength & elongation was tested and analyzed.The result shows that the surface of oxidized fiber treated by keratin solution forms a film and their weight rises.The strength & elongation properties of oxidized natural bamboo fiber increased in a degree.Better modification processing is quality percentage concentration 3%,treatment temperature 40℃,solution pH value 6 and treatment time 1 h.
