The effect of tobacco straw,disposable stalk and dust applied in tobacco curing by straw gasification was studied.The preliminary results showed that the temperature control performance and tobacco quality of the flue-curing barn with tobacco straw gasification technology were superior to the traditional coal flue-curing barn,and the curing cost decreased tremendously.Applying the straw gasification technology to cure tobacco can save coal energy and is beneficial to the development of the ecological tobacco agriculture.

Some experiments were carried out to probe into the differences of the appearance characters,internal quality,chemical components and physical traits among the flue-cured tobacco leaves at different stalk position.The results could help for tobacco leaf grading according to the leaf appearance characters.
