The effects of stocking density and feeding rate on the growth and ingestion of 1 year old giant salamander on the conditions of industrial aquaculture were studied.A 70 -days experiment was conducted in this study.Five daily feeding rates were designed at 1.00%, 1.50%, 2.00%, 2.50%, 3.00% of the total body weight.And five stocking densities were designed at 40, 70, 100, 130, 160 tail /m2.At the end of the feeding trial, the giant salamander were weighted and measured by batch for the determination of weight gain rate (WGR), special growth rate (SGR), condition factor ( CF) and feed conversion ratio ( FCR) which we used to comprehensive evaluation the effects of stocking density and feed -ing rate on the growth of giant salamander.The results showed that: The suitable stocking density of 1 year old giant sala-mander was 70 tail/m2 , special growth rate of which was significantly higher than that of the group of 160 tail/m2; The suitable feeding rate of 1 year old giant salamander was 2.00%, weight gain rate and special growth rate of which was sig-nificantly higher than the group of 3.00%.
The effects of stocking density on the growth and ingestion of 2 ~ 5 year old Andrias davidianus on the conditions of industrial aquaculture were studied. The results showed that: The suitable stocking density of 2 year old A. davidianus is27 tail / m2which special growth rate is significantly higher than the group of 9 tail / m2and 18 tail / m2( P < 0. 05); The weight gain rate and the special growth rate of 3 year old A. davidianus were the highest when the stocking density is 17 tail /m2. The feed conversion ratio of 17 tail / m2is significantly lower than 5 tail / m2( P <0. 05). The suitable stocking density of 3 year old giant salamander is 17 tail / m2. The suitable stocking density of 4 year old A. davidianus is 10 tail / m2. The special growth rate is the highest when the stocking density is 10 tail / m2,and it is obviously higher than the group of16 tail / m2( P <0. 05). The suitable stocking density of 5 year old A. davidianus is 5 tail/m2. The special growth rate is the highest and the feed conversion ratio is the lowest. There was significant negative linear correlation between the suitable stocking density and weight( y =- 0. 016 4x + 25. 34,r2= 0. 839 9).
