The Pearl River Delta regional economic integration is an important part of the country＇s economic development strategy.the Pearl River Delta region in economic integration process got remarkable achievements,and plays an increasingly prominent role on domestic economy development.However,as economic globalization era come,there are many problems in the Pearl River Delta regional economic integration process,this paper research some new issues of the Pearl River Delta regional economic integration process,and proposed some solutions.

The Pearl River Delta region is a gathering place for the manufacturing industry,characterized by labor-intensive,low-cost,low profit,low-tech,low value-added,the lack of independent brands,weak of core competitiveness.With the rising cost of domestic raw materials,increasingly stringent of environmental policy,the pressure of foreign economic situation increased,the plight of the Pearl River Delta manufacturing sector has become increasingly evident.This paper analyzes the challenges of transformation and upgrading of the Pearl River Delta manufacturing,Propose strategy for transformation and upgrading of the Pearl River Delta manufacturing.
