Through a survey of deck paving damage,water erosion of reinforcing bar is the main influencing reason for concrete life.Waterproof is the most effective way to this problem.Advantages and disadvantages of the current main waterproof layer types are analyzed.A new material,fiber reinforced bond waterproof layer which can solve the slightly broken damage problem well is invented and developed after relevant research.
Prestressed concrete hollow beam has been applied widely in city and highway bridge construction. With the requirements from the latest bridge design standard,the bottom of hollow beam should be jointed with the bearing top tightly and smoothly and should pass the force evenly. Aiming the situation,the paper introduces the stressing condition and construction difficulty of hollow beam,then,the plan of tenon-shaped one is put forward. Through the structure analysis and the application of Shanghai A15 South Approach Section Project,tenon-shaped hollow beam is proved to have a developing future.
The Inner Ring Rd Viaduct forms an important part of the fast viaduct network in Shanghai, but, with the rapid growth of downtown traffic, the demand is now more and more beyond its capacity. Studies are carried out on the feasibility, including comparison and selection of several proposals for widening the congested section of that viaduct.
