The types,advantages & disadvantages of regular simply-supported-tocontinuous prefabricated small box girder are analyzed and summarized firstly.Then,there are two new simply-supported-to-continuous prefabricated small box girder plans with inverse T-shaped girder discussed in this paper.Different stress state of small girder and central bearing point connection section of different plan is made a simulation analysis by means of 3D entity model established by special software.The new plan can make the construction more convenient,more environmental protection during the period,less space under the bridge and better landscape of the whole bridge.

Taking some fabricated small box girder for example,load transverse distribution coefficients are calculated by space finite element method and meanwhile,compared with theoretical calculation data by usual approximate calculation method and experimental actual data.The results show that the mid-span load transverse distribution coefficients of simple support fabricated small box girder bridge are similar closely when using rigid joint plate-girder method & space finite element method and actual measurement deflection & main beam stress,being suitable to small box girder structure design;the mid-span load transverse distribution coefficients of first simply supported then continuously supported fabricated small box girder bridge are similar more when using equivalent stiffness method & space finite element method and actual measurement deflection & main beam stress;fulcrum shear load transverse distribution coefficients calculated by lever method are suitable to both structure systems above.
Shanxi Rd. Pedestrian Bridge in Shanghai is of the single 54.5 m span double-hinged steel-concrete composite rigid structure with its cross section varied. From description of the structural design, landscape design and construction method of the bridge, it is concluded that satisfactory results can be obtained with the girder depth of 1.6~2.6 m, rise-span ratio of 1/8.2, natural vibration frequency of 3.06 Hz, and the proposed hinge of thick rebars at the foot of the rigid structure support connected with the disc elastomeric bearing.
The Inner Ring Rd Viaduct forms an important part of the fast viaduct network in Shanghai, but, with the rapid growth of downtown traffic, the demand is now more and more beyond its capacity. Studies are carried out on the feasibility, including comparison and selection of several proposals for widening the congested section of that viaduct.
