AIM:To study normal value of corneal thickness in healthy subjects in different age groups with Fourier-domain optical coherence tomography(FD-OCT). METHODS:Total 420 eyes of 210 healthy volunteers were analyzed. These were divided into three groups: young group(YG, n=70, 140 eyes, 18 to 40 years old), medium group(MG, n=70, 140 eyes, 41 to 60 years old), old group(OG, n=70, 140 eyes, more 61 years old). Corneal thickness in central zone and inner-ring and outer-ring zones were measured by using FD-OCT. RESULTS:The thinnest zone was 527.19±1.72μm in central cornea zone, and the thickest zone was 582.42±2.50μm in superior in outer zone. Differences of corneal thickness were not significant in different measured zones(P>0.05). Average values of corneal thickness made by FD-OCT was better consistent and highly correlated for three groups(right eye: YG-MG: r=0.949, MG-OG: r=0.924,YG-OG: r=0.981. left eye: YG-MG: r=0.996, MG-OG: r=0.901, YG-OG: r=0.876). CONCLUSION: Measurement of cornea thickness by FD-OCT is more reproducible, reliable and convenient, and may better represent actual cornea thickness.
随着我国高等教育的快速发展,日趋增多的国外留学生选择到中国学习。医学教育因其自身的特殊性,临床实习在其学习过程中具有重要地位。由于国外学生的汉语口语表达能力比较差,限制了留学生临床实习的效果,而且眼科属于显微外科,解剖结构复杂精细,临床实习要求学生熟练使用眼科检查设备。为了加强留学生的临床实习质量,通过加强带教教师的英语培训,鼓励外国留学生和中国学生的交流,提高外国留学生的汉语水平,增加眼科实习的各种设备的操作机会,加强循证医学教育,使基础理论和临床实践有效结合,使留学生教育形成一个良性循环,提升眼科临床教学和科研水平,实现可持续发展。
以病例为基础的学习(case-Based Learning,CBL)模式是一种全新教学模式,其核心是以"临床病例为先导,以问题为基础"的小组讨论式教学法,正逐渐成为临床教学中的重要方法,既提高了医学生学习兴趣和学习效果,又培养了学生独立思考和创新能力,是满足当代医学教育对于培养高素质复合型医学人才的教学新模式.
Objective To analyze the ophthalmologic characteristics caused by cerebral infarction and evaluate their diagnostic value of visual pathway diseases through vision field defects.Methods Retrospective analysis of 90 cases of cerebral infarction patients with ophthalmologic signs were performed.Ophthalmologic features and incidences,the main dangerous factors of cerebral infarction and vision field defects features were observed.Results Among all 90 patients with the corresponding eye symptoms,visual acuity decreased in 31 cases,vision field defects was in 28 cases,fundus arteriosclerosis in 25 cases,diplopia in 10 cases,nystagmus in 3 cases,ocular movement disorder in 5 cases and ptosis in 3 cases.Among 75 patients who took cervical vascular ultrasound,unilateral and bilateral internal carotid atherosis in 30 cases and 45 cases.Among 54 cases who received the digital subtraction angiography(DSA)and/or ranscranial Doppler ultrasound(TCD),vertebral artery was abnormal in 42 cases,abnormal anterior cerebral artery(PCA)and middle cerebral artery(MCA)and posterior cerebral artery(PCA)in 16 and 33 and 6 cases,respectively.Conclusion Cerebral infarction may cause eye-related symptoms and distinctive vision field defects may assist to judge the position of visual pathway.Patients with cerebral infarction maybe first appear at the department of ophthalmology,so we should pay attention to it.
为探讨确定蝶骨嵴脑膜瘤的眼部改变特征、术前定位诊断及视功能的保护,对天坛医院1995年1月至2001年6月共45例资料完整、经手术证实的蝶骨嵴脑膜瘤进行回顾性分析.其中39例(占 87%)出现眼征,前床突型脑膜瘤全部有眼部改变,而且大部分以首发症状出现.结果提示:头痛伴有单侧视力减退及视神经萎缩、单侧眼球突出合并眼睑水肿、单侧视野缺损、多条眼外肌麻痹等症状,应考虑到蝶骨嵴脑膜病的可能.早期诊断及治疗,有助于视功能的恢复,术后进行眼科治疗是必要的.
