The application of RO technology to the large-sized ultrapure water treatment in Sichuan Province is in-troduced. The plant makes use of local tap water as water source ,and RO technology as the main desalination tech-nology for the preparation of electronic ultrapure water. The results show that RO system runs well, providing a stable and good water source for the subsequent treatment process ,and bringing good guarantee to the stable operation of the ultrapure watrer project of the plant.

The application of RO technology to the big scale water treatment in a northern power plant is introduced. The water in the yellow river has been used as water source by the company ,and RO technology as the main desali-nation technology for making the boiler make-up water. The result shows that RO system runs well , bringing good social and economic benefits to the plant.
