The stromatolite-wormtube biohermal limestone sequence in Xiangshan,Sanmen,and Xinchang counties of eastern Zhejiang is part of the Shipu Formation,and there have been much controversies over its age and sedimentary facies for a long time.A high-precision single-zircon U-Pb age of 117.8±2.20 Ma is acquired from a porphyric rhyolite below the bioherm limestone,and a basalt unit intercalated within the bioherm limestone gives an age of 116.05±0.99 Ma.Thus,the biohermal limestone is of early Cretaceous APtian age,approximately 116 Ma.Oxygen and Carbon isotope data of the bioherm limestone give a Z value of 70.273~79.565,suggesting that the limestone is lacustrine rather than marine.Regional lithostratigraphic survey suggests that the biomodal volcanic rocks,lacustrine siliciclastic rocks,and lenticular bioherm limestones of the Shipu Formation can be correlated with similar rocks of the Guantou Formation,although their sedimentary facies are slightly different because the Shipu Formation was deposited closer to a volcanic vent.The reef-building organisms in the Shipu biohermal limestones are mainly cyanobacteria and serpulid worms.Stromatolites constructed by cyanobacteria included Stratifera undata,Nanxiongella Formosa,Pseudogymnosolen multiblast,and Cryptozoon proliform.Serpulid worms included solitary Sinoditrupasp.and clustered Acerrotrupasp.The biohermal limestone was deposited in inland lakes near volcanic vents or caldeiras,with occasional ingression of seawater through tidal channels,and sediments were mainly derived from terrigenous sources with minor marine bioclasts.
The Neoproterozoic tillites outcrop on the Yangtze Platform in southeastern China from southern Anhui Province to northern Zhejiang,weatern Zhejiang and eastern Jiangxi provinces.The Neoproterozic sequences included two tillite intervals in Xiuning and Shexian of southern Anhui,Fuyang of northern Zhejiang,and Jiande and Kaihua of western of Zhejiang.These sequences record four paleoclimatic stages:glaciation-deglaciation-glaciation-deglaciation,rather than tree stages as previously believed.The two tillites may represent two glaciations corresponding to the Sturtian(710~730 Ma) and Marinoan(590~600 Ma) ice ages,respectively.Where Neoproterozic sequences include only one tillite interval,for example in Jiangshan of western Zhejiang and Guangfeng of eastern Jiangxi,only one glaciation-deglaciation cycle is recorded and this glaciation event is likely equivalent to the Marinoan ice age.The Marinoan glaciation was much greater in geographic extent than the Sturtian glaciation,and it played an important role in the accumulation and mineralization of iron,manganese,phosphate,and silicon.
Thousands of well-preserved fossil eggs in nests and few fragmentary fossil skeletons of dinosaurs have been found from Cretaceous Chaochuan,Zhongdai,Jinhua,Laijia and Chichengshan formations in Tiantai,Yongkang,Dongyang,Lishui,Jinyun,Jinhua and Jiangshan et al.,Zhejiang Province.Tyrannosaurs,troodontids,oviraptorids,hadrosaurs,segnosaurs,titanosaurs,ankylosaurs and nodosaurs have been identified from these fossils,and suggested various dinosaurs occur in Zhejiang during Cretaceous Period.Based on paleogeographical,sedimentary and taphonomic characteristics,there were numbers of torridity basins surround by mountains,where various dinosaurs lived and nested near rivers and lakes.When seasonal flood came,eggs in nest were submerged and sealed up by mud and sand carried by floodwater,and ultimately becam fossils by diagenesis,while dinosaurs escaped before flood came,or their reliquiae scattered by floodwater.
A fault subsidence event was happened in southeast China during the middle period in early Cretaceous,while an event stratiqraphic unit-fault subsidence suite was formed.The genetic mechanism,features and types of the fault subsidence suite are depicted in the text,and the principles of the isochroneity of the event stratiqraphic unit were used to prove the horizon of Tangshang Formation in its type section located at Shuinan of Tiantai basin should be the same with that of Gantou Formation of the lower part of Yongkang Group,but not a new tectonic subbed which was overburdened upon Yongkang Group,and the so called.The second member of Dashuang Formation located near Sanjie of Shengzhou should also be Guantou Formation.The information obtained from the above mentioned fault subsidence suites suggested and concluded that the horizon and age of the fault subsidence suite based on the principle of even stratigraphy were correct.
苏皖北部新元古代海相泥页岩、粉砂岩及燧石中富含微生物化石.其中,通过化学浸解法,从碎屑岩中获得14个形态属种的微生物化石;6个形态属种的蓝细菌化石呈三维立体状态保存在燧石切片中.浸解获得的泥页岩、粉砂岩相微生物化石,在刘老碑组中-上部的主要是片形和球形:Laminarites antiquissimus,Leiosphaeridia pelucida,Spumiosa alara及Asperatopsophosphaera bavlinensis;在九里桥组、贾园组和赵圩组主要为多面形和球形:Monilinema quadratucella及Synsphaeridium sp.;而史家组、金山寨组和沟后组则有丰富的球形、片形、梭形和带形个体:Leiosphaeridia hyperboreica,Trachysphaeridium simplex,Annulum difuminatum,Nucellosphaeridiumasperatum,Tophoporata sp.,Symplassosphaeridium sp.,Macroptycha uniplicata及Taeniatum simplex.该微生物组合可与河北及天津蓟县的新元古界景儿峪组和下马岭组的相对比.虽然上述微生物化石的系统古生物学仍在研究中,但却为我们了解新元古代大冰期前夕近岸海相环境生物圈提供了有关浮游植物的信息.苏皖北部新元古代倪园组及九顶山组的燧石中,保存良好的微生物三维立体化石为丝形和球形蓝细菌遗留物,包括Siphonophycussp.,Eoentophysalis belcherensis,Eozygion grande,Tetraphycus conjionceum,Globophycus rugosum及Caryosphaeroidespristine.该蓝细菌组合可能是底栖的,它们出现在非叠层石的碳酸盐沉积环境.
Abundant micropaleophytes have been first found in a suit of slightly metamorphic sedimentary strata near Fenglin Town of Yongjia City, extensively covered by the Mesozoic volcanic rock in the coastal areas of eastern Zhejiang. The ages were ascertained as the Upper Jurassic Chawan Formation (J 3 c ) or Lower Cretaceous Guantou Formation(K 1 g ). Based on micropaleophytes, the authors consider the fossil bearing stratum to be Sinian, providing a reliable basis for studying basal structure in the coastal areas of eastern Zhejiang and even southeastern China.
Some problems of Cretaceous strata in southeastern China especialy the key horizones which are still in controversy were studied based on comprehensive stratigraphy including basin analysis, tectono-sedimentology, event stratigraphy and sequence stratigraphy, and some new understandings were put forward through synthetic analysis and judge on their genetic mechanism. It is recognized that the formation and evolution of basins, tectono-sedimentary cycles, sedimentary facies sequences and stratigraphic sequences, geological events are mainly controlled by the same episodic tectonic movement, so all of them are the geological records resulting from the same cause and expressed in different styles. There are close genetic connections and corresponding relationships among them and can be examed and complemented by each other, thus deepening relevant studies. New ideas about the following problems were proposed: the age of Tangshang the existence of Lishui Movement,the horizonal relationship between Yongkang Group and Tiantai Group, as well as a-mong the molassoid formations such as Fangyan Formation, Zhongdai Formation and Chichengshan Formation. Eventually, a regional correlation scheme of Cretaceous strata in southeasthern China was suggested.

根据陆相地层层序发育的特点,冲积扇、河流、三角洲或湖泊沉积环境,均受地层基准面控制,地层基准面穿越旋回控制着陆相环境重大层序分布.根据不同时间间隔的基准面穿越旋回序次,可将陆相层序划分为盆地充填层序、构造层序、层序、亚层序及小层序5个级别.每个层序(三级)根据基准面的波动可划分为基准面上升沉积体系域和基准面下降沉积体系域,然后可进一步根据亚层序组的叠置特征进行细分.
