OBJECTIVE To improve the ability of recognizing and solving problems among all the staff in central sterile supply department (CSSD) ,and enable the management activity much deeper and more comprehensive by implementing the quality control circle (QCC) activity .Besides ,to discuss the effect of QCC application in the management of reusable sterilized equipment by analyzing the quality of equipments .METHODS A QCC group was established in CSSD and the activity was implemented from Jul .2013 to Apr .2014 .The process and methods of PDCA cycle as well as a new statistic tool were used to optimize the whole process of QCC activity in PDCA cycle . RESULTS The defect rate of reusable sterilized equipment was significantly decreased from 1 .26% to 0 .08% after the QCC activity ,(P<0 .01) .While the satisfaction rate of the clinical department was improved from 86 .98% to 97 .83% .CONCLUSION The QCC activity continuously improved the quality of the sterilized equipment in CSSD , effectively decreased the low-quality rate of the sterilized equipment , significantly improved the clinical satisfaction ,and improved the staffs′quality awareness ,level of management ,and team cohesion .
OBJECTIVE To explore the application of PDCA cycle management mode in continuous quality improvement of the central sterile supply department and further strengthen the central sterile supply quality management so as to ensure zero defect of the sterile supplies.METHODS The quality control management team was established,the PDCA cycle management responsibility system was implemented,the PDCA cycle management approach was employed to set up the key points of the quality control,the PDCA cycle improvement program was developed to constantly improve the systems;the PDCA group was implemented the PDCA cycle management mode in Nov 2011,while the control group was not implemented the PDCA cycle management mode from Nov 2010to Oct 2011,there were 96pieces of data in each group,then the satisfaction rate was compared between the two groups.RESULTS After the implementation of the PDCA cycle management mode,the satisfaction rate of the clinical departments was 97.9%in the PDCA group,significantly higher than 91.7% of the control group,the difference was significant(P0.05);the qualified rates of the hand hinge,monitoring of disinfectant concentration,cleaning and disinfection of surgical equipments,cleaning and disinfection of pipelines,rust removal,sterile supplies of the PDCA group were respectively 99.0%,95.5%,98.0%,97.5%,97.0%,and 100.0%,significantly higher than those of the control group(P0.05).CONCLUSION Through the application of PDCA cycle management model and the implementation of comprehensively continuous quality improvement,the overall quality of the CSSD staff,service quality,and quality of the sterile supplies have been substantially improved.
医疗器械生锈腐蚀是器械使用过程中常见的问题,器械生锈将不同程度地影响器械的光亮度及使用寿命,对灭菌效果也会有影响.器械除锈过程中镀铬层脱落的器械,即使能除去锈迹,但放置后会脱落黑色铁渍,无法恢复到使用状态.为提高器械的清洗质量和洁净率,减少器械的损耗,保证灭菌效果,各种医疗器械清洗维护产品越来越广泛地被医疗机构采用,使得医疗器械彻底清洗维护以及生锈器械的再利用得到保证.因此,除锈剂的选择以及正确的除锈与保养方法在日常医疗器械清洗工作中显得尤为重要[1-3].
