The perfect family doctors′ training model is the premise of improving the service of family doctors. There is relatively perfect health care system,strict family doctor training process and primary health care system in Hong Kong. This paper briefly introduces the three - tier system of health care in Hong Kong and stresses on analyzing the training model of family doctors in Hong Kong,that is 6 - year family doctor specialist training system after bachelor′s degree including 2 - year hospital -based primary training,2 - year community - based primary training and 2 - year advanced training. It also summarizes enlightenment to the mainland of China on general doctors training model and provides reference for improving general teachers′teaching ability and promoting general medical services.
