According to the investigation of Magnoliaceae plants resource,37 species of Magnoliaceae plants belonging to 7 genera and 37 species were found in Lechang,Guangdong. The results showded that there were 5 genera and 14 species belong to the native plants, and 6 genera and 23 species belong to the introduced plants. The growth performance and conservation issues of introduced plants in Lechang was summarized, and suggestions were put forward in this article.
本文从生物生态学特性、采种、育苗、造林技术等方面对乐昌含笑的栽培技术进行总结,为发掘适宜南方林区造林的优良阔叶树种提供科学依据。
Low-benefit forests of Pinus massoniana were reconstructed in 2002 with seven indigenous broad-leaved species such as Castanopsis hystrix,Mytilaria laosensis,Michelia macclurei,Choerospondias axillaris,Liquidambar formosana,Elaeocarpus sylvestris and Schima superba, and the forest growth performance and soil moisture physical characteristics were investigated after five years. It was showed that two-stratum conifer and broad-leaved forests were formed and almost closed in the fifth year after reforestation, and Choerospondias axillaris and Liquidambar formosana grew best in these seven broad-leaved species;their soil penetration coefficient and moisture content in the mixed forests declined with the increasement of soil depth, and were 31.8 to 45.1 percent and 40.2 to 55.1 percent larger than pure pine forests, respectively;their soil moisture capacity and porosity were also remarkably improved, for example, their soil bulk density declined 6.1 to 8.9 percent, total porosity increased 5.3 to 7.8 percent, saturated moisture capacity, capillary holding capacity and lowest moisture capacity increased 16.6 to 20.8 percent,9.5 to 11.5 percent and 12.7 to 15.2 percent, respectively. In a whole,Liquidambar formosana,Castanopsis hystrix and Choerospondias axillaris were most suitable to be used in reconstruction of low-benefit pine forests.
Six indigenous broad-leaved species including Castanopsis hystrix,Michelia macclurei,Choerospondias axillaris,Liquidambar formosana,Schima superba and Elaeocarpus sylvestris were planted at harvested sites of Chinese fir, respectively. And mix plantations were formed through regeneration by sprouting shoots of Chinese fir.The growth performance and water conservation properties of these forests were investigated after five years. It was shown that the mixed plantations were closed in the fifth year after reforestation with Chinese fir and all broad-leaved species grow well, and among six broad-leaved species,Choerospondias axillaris and Liquidambar formosana grew the best;the water storage properties of liter and soil layers and soil penetration coefficient in the mixed forests were much better than those of pure plantations of Chinese fir sprouts, with Choerospondias axillaries being the best, followed by Liquidambar formosana and Castanopsis hystrix. In a whole,Choerospondias axillaris,Liquidambar formosana and Castanopsis hystrix were most suitable to be used for reforestation at this kind of slash sites.
