Introduction. Today, one of the reliably known causes of mortality in the Russian Federation is diseases of the cardiovascular system, a significant part of which is associated with atherosclerotic disease. Combination therapy for diseases of the cardiovascular system includes, among other things, the use of modern lipid-lowering drugs, the use of which is often limited due to their pronounced side effects. In this regard, it seemed appropriate to search for new compounds of natural origin that potentially have lipid-lowering activity with minimal side effects. According to the scientific literature, natural phenolic compounds, namely substances from the group of flavonoids and isoflavonoids, have a set of such characteristics. In this regard, steelgrass (Ononis arvensis L.), the chemical composition of which is extremely rich and diverse in terms of flavonoids and isoflavonoids, can be a ra-ther promising source for searching and screening compounds with a given activity. The aim of the study. The purpose of the work was to study and predict the hypolipidemic activity of flavonoids and isoflavonoids of Ononis arvensis L. using in silico methods. Material and methods. The objects of the study were the structural formulas of flavonoids and isoflavonoids of field steelhead. Calculation of mo-lecular properties was carried out using the Molinspiration chemoinformatic software. Computer prediction of lipid-lowering activity was carried out us-ing the PASS-online service. Molecular docking was performed using the CB-Dock2 services for blind docking and Webina 1.0.5 for active site docking. Hepatotoxicity, mutagenicity and cytotoxicity of the analyzed biologically active substances were studied using the ProTox-II resource. Results. As a result of in silico studies, it was found that most of the studied flavonoids and isoflavonoids correspond to the Lipinski rule and the drug-likeness concept. In addition, for all studied biologically active substances, activities associated with a decrease in lipid fractions in the body were predicted. The results of molecular docking indicate that all analyzed compounds are capable of potentially inhibiting the enzyme HMG-CoA reductase, which makes it possible to predict the required lipid-lowering effect. Studying the toxicity of the research objects, most of them in silico demonstrated a high level of safety. Conclusions. The prospects for further research on the development of targeted technology for obtaining herbal preparations from steelhead, enriched with flavonoids and isoflavonoids, as well as subsequent tests to confirm hypolipidemic activity in in vitro and in vivo experiments are shown.
Momordica charantia L. is an annual climbing herbaceous plant of the pumpkin family (Cucurbitaceae), which is quite successfully cultivated in various areas with a temperate climate, including in the Krasnodar Territory. Along with the fact that the plant belongs to the food category, in folk medicine the fruits and leaves of Momordica charantia are used for diabetes, skin diseases, rheumatism, gout, and also as an anthelmintic and laxative. Data on the hypoglycemic effect of Momordica charantia fruit extract have been published, indicating its positive effect on insulin production, glucose metabolism, free fatty acid levels and kidney health in animal experiments and in clinical practice in patients with diabetes mellitus. The therapeutic activity of this plant is due to the rich composition of biologically active substances (BAS), which is characterized by the content of triterpene glycosides of the cucurbitan type, phenolic compounds, organic acids, fatty oil, proteins, lectins, pectin, inulin, alkaloids, macro- and microelements. As is known, the qualitative composition and quantitative content of biologically active substances in plant objects can vary significantly depending on the place of its growth and growing conditions. In this regard, it seemed appropriate to study the representation of a number of groups of chemical compounds in the fruits and leaves of Momordica charantia growing in the Krasnodar region. Among the biologically active substances that are essential for the prevention and treatment of various diseases are organic acids and minerals. Organic acids have anti-inflammatory, antiseptic, choleretic, and keratolytic effects. Minerals play an active role in the metabolism of proteins, lipids and carbohydrates, act as cofactors in chemical reactions, are part of cellular and skeletal structures, and participate in ensuring osmotic pressure and acid-base balance. The purpose of the study was to study the organic acids and minerals of the leaves and fruits of Momordica charantia, growing in the Krasnodar region. When carrying out the research, we used the leaves and fruits of Momordica charantia, harvested in the Krasnodar region and dried in the air-shadow method. The study was carried out by capillary electrophoresis using a Kapel-105M device (JSC NPF Lumex, Russia) with a quartz capillary Leff/Ltotal=50/60 cm, ID=75 µm. As a result of the research, the qualitative and quantitative composition of organic acids and minerals of the leaves and fruits of Momordica charantia, growing in the Krasnodar region, was studied. The presence of substances of these groups in combination with other biologically active substances is of scientific and practical interest from the point of view of the prospects for creating functional products for various purposes based on regional resources of the momordica.
Inflammatory diseases of the oral cavity belong to the category of widespread pathologies and are characterized by a diverse etiology. For their treatment and prevention, herbal remedies that have the properties of a complex effect on the causes and nature of the development of the inflammatory process are quite often and quite reasonably used. Jujube leaves seem to be a promising source of biologically active substances (BAS) for inclusion in anti-inflammatory drugs for the oral cavity due to their significant content of flavonoids, phenolcarboxylic acids, triterpene compounds and other groups of BAS, which individually and in combination determine the target activity. In addition, according to the literature, compounds that cause an anesthetic effect in the oral cavity were found in the leaves of jujube. Free radical oxidation and subsequent disruption of the integrity of cell membranes play a significant role in the pathogenesis of oral diseases. In this regard, a promising direction in the comprehensive prevention and treatment of oral diseases is the use of antioxidant drugs, among which ethyl methylhydroxypyridine succinate (EMHPS) is quite popular in this regard. EMGPS inhibits the oxidation of biological membranes, increases the activity of antioxidant enzymes, and also participates in the regulation of metabolic activity of cells. It seemed appropriate to develop a composition and evaluate the quality of an oral product based on a complex of biologically active substances from jujube leaves and EMGPS with a predicted complex anti-inflammatory and antioxidant effect. Determination of commodity indicators of jujube leaves, dry residue, alcohol content in the alcohol extract and pH of the oral product was carried out using pharmacopoeial methods. pH was measured using a Mettler Toledo pH meter. An alcoholic extract from jujube leaves in the form of a tincture was obtained by fractional maceration using 40% ethyl alcohol, which selectively extracts flavonoids from this raw material. The quantitative content of flavonoids was determined by differential spectrophotometry using a Shimadzu UV-1800 spectrophotometer. Quantitative analysis of EMGPS was carried out titrimetrically using the non-aqueous titration method. It has been established that the developed oral product containing tincture of jujube leaves and EMGPS is characterized by satisfactory quality indicators. The proposed methods for the quantitative determination of active substances make it possible to statistically reliably control their content in the composition.
Proper pharmaceutical care to the population is the most important task of our state. At the same time, the main role in resolving this issue belongs to retail pharmacy organizations, ensuring the availability of medicines and other pharmaceutical products for consumers. However, along with the need to provide timely and high-quality pharmaceutical services, retail pharmacy organizations are currently faced with a number of serious economic problems, among which the most pressing is the search for ways to increase competitiveness. As practice shows, one of the ways to solve this problem is to expand the functionality and range of pharmacy organizations, which, in particular, implies the creation of new and/or development of departments within them. One of the promising departments of a modern pharmacy organization is the orthopedic department. The market for orthopedic products has a noticeable and steady upward trend; the number of actual and potential consumers of these products, as well as the volume of their sales, increases every year. Orthopedic products for people with diseases of the musculoskeletal system are in particular demand, and demand is also growing among the group of consumers purchasing these products for sports and for the purpose of disease prevention. At the same time, an important issue is the organization of rational placement and comprehensive information to potential consumers about the properties, advantages and necessity of such goods. Integrated sales of medicines, other pharmaceutical products and orthopedic products can create an additional competitive advantage for a pharmacy organization in comparison with others and improve the economic and financial performance of the retail chain. The purpose of this study was to study the influence of orthopedic products on the turnover indicators of a pharmacy organization and to study the approaches used in practice for their placement in the sales area of a pharmacy. As a result of the research, comparative data on the influence of orthopedic products on the turnover indicators of a pharmacy organization were obtained and the approaches used in practice to their placement in the sales area of pharmacy organizations were studied. It has been established that orthopedic products occupy a significant portion of sales in the total turnover of pharmacy organizations. At the same time, the best economic indicators in this regard were demonstrated by a pharmacy that has a separate orthopedic department, which allows us to consider it expedient to create specialized units in this area in a pharmacy organization.
Relevance. The leaves of the Plantago major are a pharmacopeic medicinal plant raw materials, quite well studied in relation to the chemical compo-sition and spectrum of medical use, but the list of drugs based on them today is limited. In this regard , it seemed to be relevant to study the possibil-ity of developing a drug in the form of a medicinal pencil containing an extraction complex of Plantago major leaves, enriched with flavonoids. To solve this problem, it was necessary to choose an extragent that selectively extracts the biologically active substances of the Plantago major leaves, with a predominance of flavonoids. The aim of the work was a comparative study of the chemical composition and immunotropic effects of the in vitro heteropoly fractions of the leaves of the Plantago major leaves. Material and methods. The object of research was the leaves of the Plantago major. The content of extractive substances in the raw materials was determined by the pharmacopeic method of single extraction using extractants of various polarity: purified water, 40 %, 70 % and 95 % of ethyl alco-hol. The content of the amount of flavonoids in extracts in terms of cinaroside was carried out by differential spectrophotomeria. Heteropoly fractions were obtained by the method of reperculation in a battery from 3 laboratory percolators with subsequent condensation and drying. The assessment of the phagocytic and microbicidal function of neutrophilic granulocytes carried out in vitro on the samples of peripheral blood of conditionally fast-ash persons. Results. It was revealed that the content of extractive substances was reduced with a decrease in the polarity of the extractant, while the content of the extracted amount of flavonoids increased. Comparative immunological studies included the extracts of Plantago major leaves, obtained with the use of 70 % and 95 % of ethyl alcohol. An analysis of their immunotropic effects showed that the fraction extracted by 70% alcohol, statistically sig-nificantly increased the indicators of the phagocytic number, phagocytic index and the relative number of neutrophilic granulocytes that absorb bacte-ria. In addition, in its presence, the digestive ability of neutrophilic granulocytes and the digestion index relative to indicators of the control group in-creased, the activity of NADPH-oxidase and the number of formsan-positive neutrophil granulocytes increased. Conclusions. A comparative assessment of the effect of heteropoly fractions of Plantago major leaves on the phagocytic and microbicidal functions of neutrophilic granulocytes showed that the most pronounced positive immunotropic effect was demonstrated by the fraction extracted with 70% ethanol.
Relevance. One of the important directions of medical science and practice remains the introduction and improvement of existing methods and means for the treatment of dermatological diseases of various etiologies. At the same time, the search for new wound-healing drugs that can com-prehensively affect the wound process is relevant. Practical dermatology has an extensive range of synthetic antimicrobial, anti-inflammatory and wound healing agents. However, despite their known effectiveness, many of them are characterized by the presence of undesirable reactions for the body, such as allergies, dry skin, the formation of resistance, the development of withdrawal syndrome, a decrease in the local and general immuno-logical response of the body. The solution of this problem can be facilitated by the use of an ointment based on a dry extract of the herb Eupatorium cannabinum L., for which, along with known antimicrobial properties, there are grounds for predicting a wound-healing effect. The aim of the study was to study the wound-healing activity of antimicrobial ointment with a dry extract of cannabis herb in order to predict the possibility of use in medical practice as a polyvalent agent for the treatment of wound processes. Material and methods. An ointment was developed with a dry extract of cannabis herb, the wound-healing activity of which was determined on a simulated «linear» skin wound in male rats weighing 200.0 ± 20.0 g. An assessment of the restoration of the skin in experimental groups of animals and in control was carried out. Results. It was revealed that the restoration of the epithelium with the formed dry, pink, natural tissue and wool coating in the groups of rats treated with an experimental soft dosage form occurs earlier than in the control groups treated with a control ointment for an average of 6–8 days. Conclusions. The results obtained allow us to recommend an ointment with an extract of the herb Eupatirum cannabinum as a means of plant origin, which has a polyvalent, including the wound-healing effect revealed in experiments.
Cultivated food plants can be one of the available sources of effective and safe herbal remedies. These, in particular, include real jujube (Ziziphus jujuba Mill.) - a shrub or small tree of the Rhamnaceae family. Today, Ziziphus jujuba real grows in many countries of the world, is widely distributed in the countries of South and East Asia, cultivated in the Krasnodar and Stavropol Territories and is known primarily as a source of tasty fruits that are eaten and, according to various sources, have a wide range of biological properties. activity. However, along with the fruits of this jujube, the leaves of this plant are of scientific interest, which have many years of experience in traditional medicine for the treatment of inflammatory diseases, pathologies of the respiratory and urinary system, are used in the complex therapy of hypertension. In recent years, Ziziphus jujuba leaves have increasingly become the object of research in relation to the study of the chemical composition, the search for ways to process them into medicinal products and the formation of an evidence base for their use in medicine. The conducted information and analytical search made it possible to generalize modern data on the chemical composition and the most studied types of biological activity of Ziziphus jujuba leaves to date. According to the results of the study, it was revealed that phenolic compounds and triterpene acids of Ziziphus jujuba leaves, as well as the biological effects associated with these compounds, have been studied to the greatest extent. The data obtained allow us to determine the prospects and suggest ways to use this raw material to create antioxidant, anti-inflammatory, wound healing, hepatropic and a number of other types of action.
The article presents the results of a study of a polyphenolic extract of the herb Eupatorium cannabinum L., which grows on the territory of the Krasnodar Territory. The aim of the study was to conduct a phytochemical analysis of the BAS of a dry extract of Eupatorium cannabinum L. and determination of its antioxidant activity. Thus, as a result of the conducted studies, it was found that a diverse composition of phenolic compounds is identified in the dry extract of Eupatorium cannabinum L., among which the presence of rutin, quercetin salicylic, chlorogenic, caffeic, ferulic, π-coumaric and gallic acids was revealed. It was found that the content of phenolic carboxylic acids in the dry extract of Eupatorium cannabinum L. averaged 15.10%, flavonoids – 4.34%. The results of the studies conducted on the in vitro model system revealed the ability of the dry extract of Eupatorium cannabinum L. reduce the accumulation of Fe2+-induced POL products, which indicates the presence of direct antioxidant action. The mechanism of action of the resulting extraction product on the one hand may be related to the ability of phenolic compounds that make up the dry extract to act as free radical traps and restore reactive oxygen species, on the other hand, the resulting extract can act as chelators of Fe2+ ions, which significantly reduces the rate of free radical processes. The obtained data complement the previously discovered information about the antimicrobial effect of the dry extract of the cannabis herb and allow us to predict the potential effectiveness of the use of drugs based on it for the treatment of infectious and inflammatory skin diseases due to the presence of combined antimicrobial and antioxidant effects.

One of the most promising methods for the treatment of wounds is application of collagen hydrogels. Supplements of plant bioactive compounds of corn silk (CS) can significantly enhance antioxidant, hemostatic, and anti-inflammatory effects of collagen hydrogels. The aim of the study was to evaluate the cytotoxic and reparative properties of a multicomponent dermal hydrogel (DH) with the CS extract. Methods. We obtained a thick CS extract by vacuum filtration. To obtain DH, samples of porcine dermis were decellularized with 5% NaOH. Cytotoxicity was assessed with DF-1 dermal fibroblasts, and their viability was determined by the Live&Dead method. The effect of DH with the 2% CS extract was evaluated on Wistar male rats: group 1, rats without treatment (control group); group 2, rats treated with DH with the CS extract (experimental group); and group 3, rats treated with DH without the CS extract (comparison group). Scarified wounds (30x20x2 mm) were inflicted in the shoulder area, then the wounds of groups 2 and 3 rats were treated for 7 days. Samples of rat skin were stained with hematoxylin and eosin or with CD68, CD3 antibodies. Results. The DH with the CS extract at a 1:50 dilution did not show toxic effects; thus, this dilution was chosen for the development of a composite DH with the 2% CS extract. According to the results of visual and histological assessment of the reparation effectiveness, a scab formed in the wound area in the control and comparison groups on day 7 of experiment, while in the experimental group, all skin layers formed during the same period. A considerable number of CD3, CD68-positive cells was detected in the preparations of the experimental group on day 2, while these cells were not found on day 7. Conclusion. The concentration of the CS extract used for the development of DH is not toxic to cells. Evaluation of the experimental treatment with the composite DH showed a positive reparative effect compared to the control or the comparison group.
Hemorrhoids are one of the most common pathologies among rectal diseases, which most often affects residents of large cities around the world. This fact is explained primarily by the fact that the development of hemorrhoids is facilitated by a sedentary lifestyle of the urban population, bad habits, irregular and unbalanced nutrition, and abuse of fast-food products. The most effective way to treat hemorrhoids is surgery. However, drug therapy is no less important, both at the stage of conservative treatment and in the postoperative period. Most often, hormonal and antibacterial drugs are used to treat hemorrhoids. However, as medical practice shows, their use does not always provide a long-lasting and sustainable antihemorrhoidal effect, and is also characterized by a number of side effects associated with the possibility of systemic absorption of the active components of the drugs. In this regard, the search and development of new safe and effective drugs for the treatment and prevention of exacerbations of hemorrhoids is an urgent task of modern pharmaceutical science. When designing drugs for the treatment of hemorrhoids, it is necessary to take into account the combined clinical picture of this disease, including such manifestations as swelling, inflammation, pain, itching and burning in the rectal area. Thus, it seems appropriate to create a multifunctional antihemorrhoidal drug, which includes components of anti-inflammatory, antimicrobial and anesthetic action. It is possible to ensure such a rational combination by combining synthetic drugs and complexes of biologically active substances of plant origin One of the compositions suitable for the development of an antihemorrhoidal drug is, in our opinion, the combined presence of benzocaine and dry herb extract. Benzocaine is well known as an affordable, effective and safe local anesthetic used for local pain relief. Hemp sapling herb, in turn, is often used in folk medicine as a wound-healing, anti-inflammatory, antimicrobial, decongestant for the treatment of bruises, burns, infected wounds and ulcers of various etiologies. The most rational form for the combination of benzocaine and dry sapling herb extract proposed above seems to be suppositories. In this regard, the purpose of this study was to develop the composition, technology and testing of anti-hemorrhoidal suppositories from the sapling grass with dry extract and benzocaine. It has been established that the developed recipe for rectal suppositories on a hydrophilic basis containing polyethylene oxide 400 and 1500 is distinguished by the necessary technological properties, high bioavailability and meets the requirements of the State Pharmacopoeia of the Russian Federation XV edition.
The domestic pharmaceutical market still lacks reparative drugs, which determines research on their creation as an urgent theoretical and applied task. In this regard, the expediency of developing the composition and technology for obtaining a polycomponent gel with a predictable positive effect on wound healing processes based on dermal biopolymers and a complex of biologically active substances of corn columns with stigmas is substantiated. The complex of technological studies carried out made it possible to establish the optimal composition and technology for obtaining a polycomponent gel. At the next necessary stage of pharmaceutical development, it was necessary to solve the issues of assessing the quality of the proposed composition of the polycomponent gel. The purpose of this study was to determine the criteria and methods for monitoring the quality indicators of a multicomponent reparative gel. The object of the study was experimental samples of a multicomponent gel obtained by introducing a thick extract of corn columns with stigmas into a collagen base. The quality of the polycomponent gel was assessed in accordance with the requirements of GPM.1.4.1.0008.15 "Ointments" of the State Pharmacopoeia IV edition according to the following criteria: "Description", pH, "Microbiological purity", authenticity and quantitative content of active substances. The indicator "Description" was evaluated organoleptically. The determination of the pH of the gel was carried out potentiometrically using a pH meter (Mettler Toledo, USA) according to GPM.1.2.1.0004.15 "Ionometry" directly in the gel sample. Microbiological purity was studied by the agar plate method in accordance with GPM.1.2.4.0002.15. The presence and quantitative determination of flavonoids in the developed gel was determined spectrophotometrically on a UV-1800 SHIMADZU spectrophotometer, Japan. As a result of the studies carried out, the criteria for the quality of a multicomponent gel of reparative action were studied and proposed. According to the "Description" indicator, the polycomponent gel is a homogeneous mass of light brown color with a pleasant fruity odor without impurities. It has been established that the polycomponent gel is characterized by a slightly alkaline pH value, which creates optimal conditions for the healing phase of the wound process. It is shown that the use of the method of differential spectrophotometry makes it possible to carry out a statistically significant qualitative and quantitative assessment of the content of flavonoids in the composition of a polycomponent gel.
Relevance. The main strategic task of the domestic pharmaceutical industry is to provide the population of our country with affordable, high-quality, safe and effective medicines. At the same time, of particular interest for modern pharmacy is the creation of herbal medicines with a multifunctional effect and a high degree of safety. The method can be used for standardization and quality control for the active ingredients in medicinal pencils.
Abstract. Hydrogel-based wound dressings are currently in demand due to their positive effect on reparative processes. The range of such is quite diverse and is represented by gelling agents of both synthetic and natural origin. The latter are most often biopolymers, among which collagen deserves special attention. The most important properties of collagen are its biocompatibility, low level of immunogenicity, ability to biodegrade, which leads to the formation of degradation products that stimulate cell proliferation and the biosynthesis of native collagen. Collagen has optimal physical characteristics, which is important for ensuring the structural and mechanical properties of the compositions. In addition, collagen has been successfully used as a carrier for other pharmacologically active substances. In this regard, the expediency of developing a multicomponent gel with a predictable reparative effect based on collagen and a thick extract of maize columns with stigmas was shown. This medicinal plant raw material has anti-inflammatory, antioxidant, immunotropic effects, which suggests its positive effect on tissue healing processes. One of the important properties of the reparative gel is its osmotic activity, which determines the ability to absorb exudate and cleanse the surface of the wound from purulent secretions, reduce tissue hyperthermia and inflammatory edema. The purpose of this study is to study the osmotic activity of a multicomponent gel of reparative action based on collagen and a thick extract of maize columns with stigmas. The object of the study was experimental samples of a polycomponent gel. Osmotic activity was studied by the method of equilibrium dialysis according to Kruvchinsky. For the purpose of a comparative assessment of the osmotic activity of a multicomponent gel, a control study was carried out in parallel under the same conditions for a 0.9% sodium chloride solution. The results obtained demonstrated the presence of hyperosmolar characteristics in the experimental samples of the polycomponent gel during the first four hours of dialysis, which allows us to predict its positive effect on the processes of cleansing damaged tissues from pathological secretions and their effective repair.
Abstract: Effective treatment of wound processes is an urgent task for medical practice. Among the local medications used for these pathologies, hydrogel wound dressings based on biopolymers have become increasingly popular in recent years. Natural gelling agents, along with a positive effect on the healing process, are able to successfully perform the functions of a carrier of other biologically active components. In particular, it seems relevant to introduce into the composition of such hydrogels the extraction complex of maize columns with stigmas, enriched with substances with antioxidant, immunotropic and hemostatic properties. In this regard, it seems expedient to develop a technology for obtaining an extraction complex from maize columns with stigmas in the form of a thick extract. The object of the study was commercial samples of corn columns with stigmas that meet the requirements of regulatory documentation. Determination of extractive substances of plant raw materials, quantitative content of flavonoids, dry residue of extracts, weight loss during drying of a thick extract was carried out by pharmacopoeial methods. Spectrophotometric studies were carried out on a Shimadzu UV-1800 spectrophotometer. As an extractant for extracting the phytocomplex, 70% ethyl alcohol was used. Extraction of raw materials was carried out by vacuum filtration extraction. The alcohol extracts were concentrated using an IR-1M2 rotary evaporator. Grinding of corn columns with stigmas was carried out by crushing with simultaneous attrition using a laboratory two-roll grinder, which ensured the achievement of the raw material characteristics necessary for vacuum filtration extraction. The results of vacuum filtration extraction of corn columns with stigmas showed that the use of this method makes it possible to achieve the transfer of 90,4% of the total amount of biologically active substances and 83,7% of flavonoids into the first three plums, a further increase in the number of plums is inappropriate. In order to remove accompanying substances, the combined extract was kept at a temperature not exceeding 10°C for 2 days, and the precipitate that formed was filtered off. Determination of the content of "dry residue" and flavonoids in the purified extract showed that, as a result of purification, mainly associated substances were in the sediment, while the active substances remained in a dissolved state in the composition of the extract. In order to obtain a thick extract, the extract was concentrated using a rotary evaporator at a temperature of 50-60°C to the required consistency and a residual moisture content of no more than 25%.

The development of drugs for the treatment of wounds is an urgent theoretical and applied problem, in connection with which the expediency of developing the composition and technology of a multicomponent reparative action based on dermal biopolymers and a complex of biologically active substances of corn silk is substantiated. The studies carried out made it possible to propose the optimal composition and technology for obtaining a polycomponent gel. The purpose of this study was to determine the criteria and methods for monitoring the quality indicators of a multicomponent reparative gel. As criteria for the quality of a multicomponent gel, the indicators "description", pH, "microbiological purity", "authenticity" and "quantitative content of the sum of flavonoids in terms of luteolin-7-glycoside" were studied.
The paper deals with topical issues of developing additional professional advanced training programs for specialists in several specialties with a secondary pharmaceutical and medical education. For many years, postgraduate medical and pharmaceutical education provided for a one-time advanced training of specialists over a five-year period. At the same time, such a training format lasting, as a rule, 144 hours, hardly allowed the student to master a significant amount of relevant professional information accumulated by science and practice over the past five years. It is obvious that the current pace of development of domestic healthcare in general and pharmacy, in particular, the emergence and active use of innovative educational technologies, the existing need for pharmaceutical personnel to regularly receive updated and systematized professional knowledge could not but lead to the transformation of the previously existing model of postgraduate education. However, to date, two inextricably linked components of this process have been clearly defined: the introduction of continuing medical and pharmaceutical education and the accreditation of specialists. Moreover, in the current conditions, continuous education is becoming a necessary condition for the formation of a portfolio and admission to the accreditation procedure for a specialist, while accreditation serves as a fundamental licensing tool for professional activities. An active participant in the continuing medical and pharmaceutical education system are educational organizations that have been delegated the functions of developing and implementing additional professional advanced training programs. The purpose of this work was to popularize the experience of the Department of Pharmacy of the Kuban State Medical University of the Ministry of Health of Russia in the development of additional educational programs for specialists with medical and pharmaceutical education. The methodological basis for the process of developing a development of additional educational programs for specialists with medical and pharmaceutical education was the professional competencies presented in the Federal State Educational Standards in the specialty "Pharmacy", Nursing, Federal State Educational Standards "General Medicine", Federal State Educational Standards "Obstetrics" and labor functions given in the relevant professional standards. On the example of additional professional advanced training programs developed at the Department of Pharmacy of the Kuban State Medical University of the Ministry of Health of Russia, modern approaches are shown that allow harmonizing their content with the requirements of the Federal State Educational Standards for medical and pharmaceutical specialties with professional standards "Pharmacist", "Nursing Organization Specialist", "Nurse/Nurse Brother", "Midwife", "Nurse Anesthetist", "Paramedic".
