The evidence on the effect of different insulin-like growth factor concentrations on a state of human erythrocytes is provided. Activation of the insulin-like growth factor receptors led to changes in the conformation of hemoglobin, NO-transporting function in erythrocytes and also in micro-viscosity of the cell membrane. It was shown for the first time that at the binding of the insulin-like growth factor to a cell surface, hemoglobin of erythrocytes alters its conformations and affinity to ligands.
In the reaction esterification 2(N-acetylamid)-3(3 ’, 5 '-di-tert.butyl-4 '-hydroxyphenyl) propionic acid by alcohols (MeOH, Et ОН, isoPrOH, n-BuOH, n-C 9H 17OH) in the presence of SOCl 2 5 antioxidants with yields of 90-94 % are synthesised. Antioxidative properties of compounds on value к 7 at level 2.10 6 l.mol -1.s -1 that above, than for methyl ester (3 ’, 5 '-di-tert.butyl-4 '-hydroxyphenyll) propionic acid ( к 7 =2.10 4 l.mol -1.s -1). Are executed quantovo-chemical calculations of structure of methyl ester 2-(N-acetylamid)-3-(3 ’, 5 '-di-tert.butyl-4 '-hydroxyphenyl) propionic aci d which explain communication of entropy and structure with antioxidative properties.
The present work was designed to study the influence of therapy with recombinant growth hormone on the oxygen and antioxidant blood status in the children presenting with somatotrophic insufficiency. A total of 11 children (2 girls and 9 boys) at the age from 3 to 9 years with confirmed somatotrophic insufficiency were available for the observation. They had never before been treated with growth hormone preparations. The blood oxyhemoglobin level and superoxide dismutase (SOD) activity increased within 3 months after the onset of therapy. There is direct correlation between oxyhemoglobin levels and SDS for the growth rate (r= 0.64; p<0.05) and negative correlation between mean hemoglobin content in erythrocytes (MHCE) and SDS for the growth rate (r=-0.69), p<0.05). The results of the study suggest the close relationship between the system of growth hormone/growth factors and the morphofunctional state of erythrocytes. It is concluded that the short-term treatment of the children suffering somatotrophic insufficiency with recombinant growth hormone appears to promote the development of adaptive mechanisms.
Plasmatic membrane viscosity and permeability and hemoporphyrine conformation in human hemoglobin were studied on completion of long-duration space flight (LSF). Reversible increases in viscosity and selective permeability (Na+/H+ -turnover) of erythrocyte plasmatic membrane were observed immediately after and in the period of recovery from LSF. Viscosity of lipids in both external and internal locations of plasmatic membrane in human erythrocytes was changed after LSF. The reversible rise of the Na+/H+ -turnover is likely to alter intracellular pH and oxygen binding with hemoglobin. The former is confirmed by the concurrent reversible decline in the deoxyhemoglobin ability to bind oxygen and the oxyhemoglobin ability to retain oxygen. In LSF and during readaptation to the normal gravity blood levels of hemoglobin and free iron are known to be reduced and may be answerable for the hypoxic state of human organism.
Different forms of water content were studied in myocardium and liver of male rats at 2-h hypotension and during the early postreanimation period. The phenomenon of redistribution of free and bound water was found. Comparison of water balance during the postreanimation period in the myocardium and liver revealed that normalization of different forms of water occured in myocardium. In hepatocytes oedema remained over the whole period studied.
