Studies of metamorphic rocks in the zone of junction of the North and South Yenisey Ridge region are considered. Interpretation of new petrological and geochronological data allowed us to allocate the Cisangarian metamorphic complex and to constrain two major stages in its development. The first stage occurred as a result of the Grenville-age orogeny during late Meso – early Neoproterozoic (1100–850 Ma) and was marked by low-pressure andalusite-sillimanite type zoned metamorphism on sedimentary and volcanic sequences of Sukhoy Pit Group. At the second stage, in the vicinity of the thrust faults of the Tatarka-Ishimba suture zone, these rocks were experienced middle-late Neoproterozoic (730–600 Ma) collision-related medium-pressure metamorphism of kyanite-sillimanite type. These metamorphic episodes of regional crust evolution are correlated with the synchronous succession and similar style of the tectono-thermal events within the Teya complex in the Transangarian part of the Yenisey Ridge. Crustal thickening and related compressional deformation and metamorphism are assumed to have been attributed to the accretion-collision events on the western margin of Siberian Craton.
The age of the latest impulse of dynamometamorphic structural-compositional transformations (603–615 Ma) was established from the 40Ar-39Ar age of micas from balstomilonites of the Garevka metamorphic complex of the Yenisei Ridge confined to the Priyenisei shear zone. The age of these tectonic-thermal events marks the final stage of the Neoproterozoic evolution of the Yenisei Ridge related to the accretion of the Isakovka terrane to the western margin of the Siberian Craton. These results are in agreement with the age of metamorphic rocks of northwestern Prisayany, which are incorporated into the Sayany-Yenisei accretionary belt along with Yenisei Ridge. The conformable data on two regions indicate a global Vendian accretionary-collision event, which led to the formation of the Sayany-Yenisei accretionary belt, lateral thickening of the continental crust to the southwestern margin of the Siberian Craton, and its subsequent tectonic reworking. The synchronous Vendian orogenesis and consequence of the tectonic-thermal events along the periphery of the large Precambrian cratons of the Baltic and Siberia confirm their close spatial relation about 800 Ma ago, which agrees with contemporary paleomagnetic reconstructions.
Exoplanet observations have been performed on the automated Pulkovo Observatory telescopes. We have obtained 33 transit light curves for 16 known exoplanets and six transit observations for three exoplanet candidates discovered by the Kepler telescope. Based on our observations, we have reliably confirmed the existence of an exoplanet with an extremely large radius, R pl = 1.83 ± 0.16R Jup, in the system KOI 256 and detected a strong deviation of its orbital revolution from the theoretically predicted one. During the transit of the exoplanet WASP-12b across the stellar disk, we detected bursts that could be caused by the planet transit across spots on the star or by the presence of a satellite around this exoplanet. We detected possible periodic variations in the duration of the exoplanet transit across the stellar disk with time for HAT-P-12b that could be caused by variations in orbital inclination. The transit duration and depth, the central transit time, and the radius and orbital inclination of the planet have been estimated. The equilibrium temperature and albedo have been estimated for several exoplanets.
Laboratory of observational astrometry of Pulkovo astronomical observatory of Russian Academy of science takes part in prelaunch training observations of GAIA-FUN-SSO program. Two asteroids were observed for this program after training alerts in 2011-2012.
