The genetic characteristics are key risk factors of development of many human neoplasms including B-cell tumors of lymphatic system. The relationship between polymorphic variants of genes FCGR2A (His 1 66Agr), CD14 (C-159T), IL1β (T-31C), IL2 (T-330G) and TLR2 (Arg753Gln) and development of various forms of B-cell tumors of lymphatic system in 80 patients was investigated. The statistically significant differences of rates ofparticular genotypes of single nucleotid polymorphisms of genes FCGR2A, CD14, IL1β, IL2 and TLR2 in patients with indolent and aggressive types of course of non-Hodgkin lymphoma and also multiple myeloma. The results prove hypothesis that genetic variants of genes of inborn immune response effect the origin and character of course of different types of lymphoproliferative diseases. The markers can become additional prognostic characteristics of benign and aggressive course of tumors.

To assess the role of polyamines in the mechanism of immunosuppression in patients with chronic myeloid leukemia (CML), polyamines levels were measured in the urine and blood, polyamines reactivity was investigated in 113 CML patients in correlation with the process aggression. In patients with aggressive CML (23 subjects) and large tumor mass the above concentrations were significantly higher than in patients with less severe CML run (90 subjects). There were also parallels between polyamines concentrations in the biological media and the patient's immunoreactivity. This suggests involvement of polyamines in immunosuppression observed in CML.
Proliferative activity of myeloblasts as well as the content of possible regulators of hemopoiesis--polyamines and medium-molecular peptides were investigated in the time course of chronic myeloid leukemia. It has been noted that their levels correlate with the leukemic process progressing, and with the response to the chemotherapy conducted.
Content of polyamines and some patterns of metabolism related to their synthesis and catabolism were studied in blood of patients with chronic myeloleukemia and chronic lympholeukemia. Free polyamines as well as activity of diamine oxidase were distinctly increased in blood, while concentration of total diamino acids was simultaneously decreased in blood serum of the patients as compared with that of healthy persons. Specific type of the quantitative alterations was responsible for efficiency of chemotherapy in these patients.
The content of polyamines in cadaveric bone marrow was measured before and after cryopreservation. The content of some polyamines was found to depend on the morphologic and functional preservation of bone marrow elements. It is concluded that the content of some polyamines may serve as criterion of cell destruction and proliferative potencies of bone marrow.
Excretion of spermine, spermidine and putrescine with urine was studied in 38 patients (21-79 years old) with thermic burns of various degree. Certain differences were detected in excretion of the polyamines with urine depending on severity, step and outcome of the disease. In the course of the disease both low and extremely high level of the polyamines, found in urine during thermic shock, were unfavourable prognostically.
A fraction content of free and conjugated polyamines was studied in whole blood of 70 practically healthy persons. Spermine and spermidine were mainly found among the polyamines with some quantitative predominance of the latter. Putrescine was not observed in blood or its amount was not detected by means of spectrophotometry. The data obtained suggest that the free and conjugated polyamines should be studied simultaneously.
