A corporation cyber war is a new type of attack that will be considered as a more dangerous attack faces the different corporations in each country in the world. The importance of a corporation cyber war now increases more and more, because of its large passive impact on a corporations work. So each country must start to defend against this type of this attack by preparing efficient strategies to reduce impacts of corporation cyber war attack to acceptable level. This paper will mention strategy to defend against corporation cyber war, which can be considered as a first step toward protecting corporations from corporation cyber war threat in efficient way and using understandable approach. Most research papers focus on cyber war between countries while our research contribution focuses on new side by focus on using of cyber war as a tool that can be used by one company against other companies by show how to prevent information warfare between companies from strategically view to help countries to address this issue and we take Jordan as a case study, so this research results can be increased trust on computing for society by increasing security and encourage more investment in information technology through prevent abusing of computers.
In the early days of eLearning, there was an awful lot of hype about expected results from eLearning initiatives. One of the biggest was about how much money organizations could save through eLearning. ELearning provides increased opportunities for delivering and taking part in learning, but building and delivering eLearning is typically not as inexpensive as we were once promised. Here are some of the more common costs associated with eLearning: Content development, Course design and development, Project management processes and tools, Authoring and multimedia development tools, Infrastructure, including Learning Management Systems. Although, better training may drive improved performance, many organizations still find themselves needing to reduce the costs of designing, building, and delivering eLearning. The main objective of this paper is discovering how eLearning could cut down the cost for organizations benefiting from Guild's survey.
The aim of this paper is to evaluate Jordan E-Government Website from the accessibility perspective. An automatic testing tool is called Bobby were used to provide in-depth technical direction on HTML issues relating to accessibility. The results from the evaluation process showed that Jordan E-Government Website lacks accessibility and needs further improvements to improve its quality. Therefore, a list of recommendations and guidelines were provided in order to make this website accessible to everyone including people with certain disabilities.
Knowledge is a complex and fluid concept to people, so knowledge management focuses on knowledge arrival; also it is considered as strategic activity help organizations to achieve sustainable competitive advantage. Value chain analysis is one of the analysis tools which satisfy continuous competitive advantage on organizations. This paper summarizes the value chain analysis in strategic management field to be applied on the knowledge organizations in knowledge management field which is called Knowledge Value Chain.
Knowledge is one of the enterprise’s most important assets that influence its competitiveness. One way to capture an enterprise’s knowledge and make it available to all its members is through the use of knowledge management practices. This paper discusses the importance of knowledge management (KM) in Small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) and presents a framework to deal with knowledge management in order to enhance their competitiveness. Small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) are known for too much implicit knowledge, limited resources, insufficiently shared between managers and other employees. So, in the context of SMEs, KM can be used to capture knowledge and experience generated during their operations, activities, and processes. This research paper addresses a new way of thinking about the role of KM in SMEs through developing a framework that combines five phases of the KM lifecycle (capture, creation, codification, communication, and capitalization). This framework is called “A Five C’s Knowledge Management Framework”. The application of this framework will improve the success rate and competitiveness of SMEs.
Due to the rapid development in computer networks, congestion becomes a critical issue. Congestion usually occurs when the connection demands on network resources, i.e. buffer spaces, exceed the available ones. We propose in this paper a new discrete-time queueing network analytical model based on dynamic random early drop (DRED) algorithm to control the congestion in early stages. We apply our analytical model on two-queue nodes queueing network. Furthermore, we compare between the proposed analytical model and three known active queue management (AQM) algorithms, including DRED, random early detection (RED) and adaptive RED, in order to figure out which of them offers better quality of service (QoS). We also experimentally compare the queue nodes of the proposed analytical model and the three AQM methods in terms of different performance measures, including, average queue length, average queueing delay, throughput, packet loss probability, etc., aiming to determine the queue node that offers better performance.
With unprecedented breadth in the field of information technology, the world moved from the industrial age into the information age. The manifestations of this transformation and the emergence of the transition terms and concepts have become part of our daily lives, in the field of economics emerged concepts such as E- commerce, E - business and electronic money, In the area of contact: E -mail, E -learning, and in the area of public sector: E -government. This paper introduces a general framework for the E- government through discussing answers to 3 main questions related to E-government: What, Why and How E-government? The answers to these questions summarized in giving different definitions, maturity for E-government, addressing the challenges and opportunities for developing a successful E-government, and discussing different factors for achieving the success for E-government projects and the role of ICT.
