It examines the role of financial analysis in the contemporary system of insolvency management, based on many years of practical experience, explores the сauses of poor quality of analytical procedures and the typical shortcomings of financial diagnostics of economic entities at insolvency cases. The results of research aimed at improving the techniques of financial analysis in the insolvency management practice.

The article analyses problems of self-regulating organizations of insolvency officers’ and insolvency officers’ activities on the current stage of economic growth. Suggestions on creating complex legal system as an innovative mechanism of increasing efficiency of self-regulating organizations of insolvency officers’ and their members’ activities are made.
