Adhesive activity and germination intensity of Fusarium, as well as bacterial-fungal interaction, have been studied. 27 strains were selected – 15 strains of F. verticillioides and 12 strains of F. oxysporum, isolated from patients fromdifferent areas of lesion. The obtained data confirm the presence of more pronounced pathogenic species among Fusarium, which emphasizes the importance of species identification. Analysis of the bacterial-fungal interaction showedthat Fusarium, depending on the species, has different symbiotic and antagonistic activity when interacting with bacterial flora. The belonging of clinical strains to certain species and determination of the composition of microbial flora isone of the criteria for doctors in predicting the clinic of disease and mycotic complications.
The study presents the results of microbial contamination of erosive and ulcerative lesions of the oral lichen planus. The density of the bacterial, periodontal-pathogenic аnd Candida contamination in patients with associated periodontal foci of infection has been shown to increase. The dependence between the high degree of microbial contamination of the epithelial defects of varying depth and current activity of inflammatory and destructive processes in periodontal tissues has been identified.
AIM:Study of adhesive activity and growth speed of fungi Fusarium genus isolated from the surface of cutaneous covering in patients with atopic dermatitis (AD).MATERIALS AND METHODS:Clinical and museum F. oxysporum, F. solani strains were used in the study. Seeding was carried out into agarized Czapek and Sabouraud medium. The cultures were studied for9 days at 30 +/- 2 degrees C, adhesive properties of fungi were determined by using model based on nitrocellulose film (S.A. Lisovskaya et al., 2006).RESULTS:The studies carried out showed statistically significant differences in adhesive properties and intergrowth intensity of various Fusarium spp. Adhesion level of F. solani microconidia was almost 2.5 times higher compared with F. oxysporum. Formation of the first germ tube by F. solani microconidia was noted during the first 10 hours whereas by F. oxysporum--only at day 2.CONCLUSION:The data obtained confirm species differences of Fusarium spp. pathogenic properties that emphasize the importance of species identification of fungi.
Analysis of results of mycological investigations of 30 flats with modern design from different parts of Kazan was carried out. All flats were in houses built in 2000-2010. Frequency of occurrence of various species of allergenic fungi was estimated. It was shown 100-10000 increase of indoor fungi level in centers of biodeterioration compared with control probes. Reasons of development of fungal and methods of elimination are considered.
Проведены исследования противогрибковой активности терпеноидов каранового ряда, установлена взаимосвязь между структурой соединения и его противогрибковыми свойствами. Изучено действие некоторых терпеноидов на адгезивную активность и ферментную систему гриба Candida albicans.
A series of pinanylsulfides possessing cis-configuration have been synthesized using addition of 2-mercaptoethanol and thioglycolic acid methyl ether to the double bond of (1S)-(-)-β-pinene. The corresponding sulfoxides and sulfones have been synthesized using the oxidation of sulfides with 3-chlorperbenzoic acid. The thioterpenoids obtained have been tested for antifungal activity. The dynamics of variation of the antimicotic properties in the sulfide - sulfoxide - sulfone series has been investigated.
