Material and methods: NRL972-testing is based on the course of the plasma concentrations of NRL972 after a single i.v.-injection of 2 mg NRL972. Elimination is approximated by the ratio of the concentrations 30 and 10 minutes after dosing. Such testing was performed in HV (N: 70) and 240 patients with various forms of hepatic disease: NASH, acute hepatitis A (AHA) and B (AHB), chronic hepatitis B (CHB) and C (CHC), and patients with hepatic cirrhosis (LC) Child-class A, B, and C.
