Objective:To establish a method of determination of total flavonoids in Cephalanoplos segetum.Methods:The contents of flavonoids in the samples were assayed by ultraviolet spectroscopy and TCL.Results:The method of assaying the total flavoniods,which ultrasound extracted from Cephalanoplos segetum by alcohol,were determined by ultraviolet spectroscopy with NaNO_2-A1(NO_3)_3-NaOH system,the linear range varied from 8.016~48.096μgml(r=0.9992),the average recovery was 98.9%,RSD=1.32%(n=6).The average content of total flavonoids in Cephalanoplos segetum was 1.54%,and in charred Cephalanoplos segetum was 0.56%.The main flavonoids were linarin and rutin.Conclusions:The method was easy operated and reproducible.Flavonoid content:Cephalanoplos segetum>charred Cephalanoplos segetum
Objective:To investigate the effects of different extracts from Herba Cirsii on hemorrhage,blood coagulation and experimental inflammation in rats.Methods:The coagulation time was measured by using capillary method;the bleeding time was measured using tailcutting method.The rat model for experimental inflammatory was established by the way of rat ear swelling.Results:The flavonoids,the ethyl acetate extract and nbutanol extract of decoction significantly shortened the time of hemorrhage and blood coagulation time,flavonoids significantly inhibited the rat ear swelling,compared with the control group.Conclusions:The flavonoids,ethyl acetate extract and n-butanol extract of the decoction Varry their actions on stopping hemorrhage,blood coagulation,and anti-inflammation.

AIM: To purify the water-extract of Sinisa recipe with macoroporous resigns. METHODS: Screening the purification condition by means of the content of active principle, fingerprint chromatography, the yield of dry extracts,et al. of the purified product. RESULTS: The purified product by type HP20 macoroporous resign is in good agreement with the active fraction of Sinisa in the composition of specific principles. CONCLUSION: HP20 type macoroporos resign is considered as optimum for active fraction of Sinisa recipe in purifying efficience.
