Objective To research the location,composition,zoning,flow and combination form of medical system of Model 920 hospital ship, and to provide theoretical support for the design of the hospital ship. Methods The layout of medical system of the hospital ship was constructed based on the theories of ship engineering design,hospital architecture design and naval health service as well as the requirements for height and internal environment of medical system.Results The mode combining multi corridor and single column was used to design 8 operating rooms and accessories in the midship of No.01 deck.Conclusion The multi-corridor single-column combination operating area occupies less ship space resources and the surgical treatment of wounded and sick patients is efficient, which is suitable for the platform of the ship and is worthy of reference for the design of the medical system of the large-scale rescue platform on the sea. Objective To explore the medical care and evacuation equipment at sea in China.Methods The present situation of the medical care and evacuation equipment at sea in China was discussed from the aspects of equipment system,medical service support,mechanism for utilization,management and maintenance as well as informatization.The problems were analyzed in equipment system,support ability,equipment integration and update as well as equipment performances.Results Some measures were put forward from the aspects of equipment system,support ability,equipment integration and update as well as equipment performances.Conclusion The development of medical care and evacuation equipment at sea has to take considerations on medical service requirements at sea,integrated civilian and military uses,personnel,innovation and etc.

Salmonella infection is a major global public health problem,which is required to be notified to public health departments in many countries.Salmonella infection is acquired by ingesting coniaminated food or water.Gas-troenteritis caused by nontyphoidal Salmonella infection is clinically characterized by mild and thin watery diarrhea,which most cases are self limited and no antibiotic therapy is involved.Antibiotic treatment should be considered for young chil-dren(< 2 years)and the elderly,particularly for severe and immunocompromised patients.Enteric fever is a specific syndrome caused by.Salmonella typhi and Salmonella paratyphi.Antibiotic treatment is always required,and generally requiring hospital admission.Symptoms of enteric fever are highly variable,and enteric fever should be considered for any patient returning from an endemic country with a fever.In this article,the status quo of Salmonella infection in the epi-demiology,manifestation,diagnosis and treatment are reviewed.

Objective To approve the capability of health service teaching at sea, cope with variegated military operation, and apply the computer simulation technology to the health service teaching. Methods SQL Server 2000 data server and Delphi instrument were used to develop the database of the medical aid simulation training system at sea. Results The casualty database and generator were developed. The system was composed of modules for study, training, examination, evaluation, which realized systematical teaching, integrated practice, and evaluation. Conclusion The system is supposed to set up new training method for the training at sea, approve the teaching quality, and save the training expense.
