Madong 2 well area is characterized by a geological form of source side-unconformity-slope.In this paper,the Permian unconformity surface in Madong 2 Slope is recognize by seismic,geological and well-logging data;and then,a pattern of stratigraphic structure is established in terms of unconformity surface;the discovered oil reservoirs are restudied based on the pattern;and the association of source rock,reservoir and caprock is also analyzed;and the relationship between unconformity source and reservoir forming is discussed.Results show that(1) there are five stages and two types of unconformity surfaces for the Permian;(2) the surfaces control not only the stratigraphic structure,contact relationship,distribution and trap type but also the hydrocarbon migration and accumulation;(3) oil reservoir in Madong 2 well area is a stratigraphic overlap one,with a reservoir-forming pattern of side source-unconformity-slope.
