One of the most vulnerable groups during the coronavirus-19 outbreak is pregnant women. Pregnant women are more prone to anxiety because they see about vertical spread to the fetus. Disturbance during mental health is a common morbidity of pregnancy, about 12% of women experience depression and up to 22% experience high levels of anxiety in late pregnancy. Another study related to anxiety and depression during the pandemic in Turkey in 2019 stated that the Covid-19 outbreak negatively affected the mental health of pregnant women which in turn could harm pregnant women. Problems during pregnancy can be overcome by using non-pharmacological therapy. One of the non-pharmacological techniques is Guided Imagery. Guided imagery or guided imagination technique is the development of mental functions that are expressed dynamically through psychophysiological processes involving all senses and leading to changes in behavior, perception, or physiological responses with someone's guidance or through the media. Methods The research conducted at the Koni Health Center in Jambi City, will be carried out from January to November 2021 with a total of 40 respondents. Quantitative research using a quasi-experimental design with One Group Pretest Posttest Design is to measure the effect (effect) of an intervention carried out on research subjects. Collecting data from primary data obtained from questionnaires. Research Results There is an effect of anxiety level and depression level of pregnant women before and after being given guided imagery. Hopefully, the results of this study will serve as another alternative in providing midwifery care in an effort to overcome anxiety and depression in pregnant women during the Covid-19 pandemi

Back pain in pregnant women not only interferes with the mother's quality of life, but can also affect fetal well-being and the delivery process. In an effort to address the problem of back pain in pregnant women, various physical therapy methods have been developed. Two methods that have gained attention are Kinesio techniques and Pelvic Roxing Exercises. Method: This research is a quantitative research with a pre-experimental study that uses a one group pretest-posttest design with no control group. The sample of this study was third trimester pregnant women at PMB Latifah and PMB Zainab Jambi City as many as 60 pregnant women. The sampling technique used purposive sampling technique. This research instrument is a questionnaire. Data were analyzed using the mann whitney test. Results: The results showed that in the Kinesia Taping therapy group it was known that before being given Kinesio Taping treatment, the scale of back pain felt by respondents was 67% feeling moderate pain and 33% feeling severe pain controlled. After being given Kinesio Taping, the pain scale felt by respondents was 57% feeling mild pain and 43% feeling moderate pain. In the Pelvic Roxing Exercise therapy group, it is known that before being given Pelvic Roxing Exercise therapy, the scale of back pain felt by respondents is 9% feeling mild pain, 70% moderate pain and 21% severe pain controlled. After being given Pelvic Roxing Exercise therapy, the scale of back pain felt by respondents was 77% mild pain and 235 moderate pain. The results of the mann whitney test obtained p-value = 0.041, p-value <0.05 so that there is a significant difference between the results after kinesio taping and pelvic roxing exercise interventions Conclusion: Based on the results of the study, it can be concluded that there are differences in the scale of back pain in third trimester pregnant women before being given kinesio taping therapy and pelvic roxing exercise with after being given kinesio taping therapy and pelvic roxing exercise.
Background: The prevalence of high-risk pregnancies in the world is still relatively high. Approximately 10-30% of mothers who undergo routine antenatal care are diagnosed with high-risk pregnancies and of these, 70-80% experience perinatal mortality and morbidity. The psychological impact of high-risk pregnancy is anxiety, stress, and the mother experiencing a crisis that can affect the relationship between the mother and the fetus. This condition can also continue in the relationship between mother and baby after birth. Therefore, it is necessary to make efforts to increase the attachment of mother and fetus, one of which can be done by providing education. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of Android-based Prenatal Attachment Education Applications on Maternal and Fetal Attachment in High-Risk Pregnant Women. Methods: This type of research is quantitative with a quasi-experimental design study that uses a one group pretest - posttest design without control group. The intervention provided was in the form of prenatal attachment education packaged in an application via mobile phones. The research sample was 40 pregnant women at Putri Ayu Public Health Center, Jambi City. The inclusion criteria in this study were pregnant women who could read and write. Exclusion criteria were respondents who were not willing to participate in the study. Results: Based on the results of the above analysis, it can be seen that Sig is 0.000 < 0.001, which means that H0 is rejected and Ha is accepted. In other words, there is a significant relationship between the application of prenatal attachment education with maternal and fetal attachment. Conclusion: maternal and fetal attachment can be improved with prenatal attachment education applications, for that it is expected that the puskesmas implement prenatal attachment education applications using mobile phones so that they can increase maternal and fetal attachment.
This study aims to compare the effectiveness of using ice packs and warm compresses to reduce perineal wound pain in postpartum mothers. This type of research is a quasi-experimental study using a two-group pretest-posttest design. The sample selection technique in this study was accidental sampling, with a total sample of 70 respondents consisting of 36 postpartum mothers at Putri Ayu Public Health Center and 34 postpartum mothers at Pakuan Baru Public Health Center. The statistical test used the Wilcoxon and Mann Whitney test at a significance level of 95%. The intensity of perineal wound pain was chosen at intervals of 7-9 for both groups (ice pack and warm compress). The Wilcoxon statistical test results found the effect of giving ice packs in reducing the intensity of perineal wound pain (0.000), while warm compresses did not affect (0.102). The results of the Mann-Whitney test found that ice pack interventions were more effective in reducing perineal wound pain. It was concluded that ice packs could be used to treat perineal wound pain in postpartum mothers.
