In line with the principles of Industry 4.0, the creation of innovative and interactive educational materials plays a pivotal role in advancing IT competencies. Consequently, the government initiated a curriculum outlined in PP No. 70 of 2013. This endeavor not only seeks to enhance the abilities of midwifery students in managing emergencies but also holds the potential for profound impacts on their competence and proficiency in executing clinical procedures, particularly in handling cases that support their work in the realm of midwifery and healthcare services. This research is aimed at assessing the proficiency of midwifery students in interactive obstetric emergency learning processes, providing valuable insights into their preparedness for responding to obstetric emergency cases in healthcare settings. The research design employed for this study is cross-sectional. The study population and sample encompassed 40 midwifery students at Adiwangsa University in Jambi. The findings pertaining to interactive learning resources for obstetric and uterine atony emergencies indicate that the majority of student and lecturer needs are adequately met. The results of prototype validation, as evaluated by students, lecturers, and media experts, demonstrate high validity values and excellent assessments from both lecturers and media experts, thereby confirming its suitability for educational use. Notably, several respondents expressed that the interactive YouTube MP4 video content was highly effective in enhancing the abilities and competencies of midwifery students. The results of the chi-square statistical test indicate a significant relationship between student needs and interactive learning resources (P-value = 0.000). However, for lecturers, there was no discernible relationship between their needs and the chosen learning resources (P-value = 0.091). In conclusion, the development of interactive educational resources for addressing emergency obstetric uterine atony, primarily based on YouTube MP4 videos, is evidently a valuable asset appreciated by midwifery students. Furthermore, it proves to be a suitable tool for lecturers aiming to enhance the abilities and competence of midwifery professionals in the realm of healthcare services, consistent with the scope of their practice. This educational resource is anticipated to be integrated into both theoretical and practical courses, facilitating the preparation of future professional midwives under the guidance of educators and supervisors.
Background: The number of human immunodeficiency virus (HIV)-positive cases is increasing every year. This will in turn increase the risk of mother-to-child transmission of HIV. Despite the efforts made and counseling from health workers, only a small proportion of pregnant women adhere to HIV screening and retests in the city of Jambi, Indonesia. This study aimed to determine factors associated with adherence of pregnant women to HIV screening at the Putri Ayu public health center, Jambi City, Indonesia. Methods: This cross-sectional study was done on 93 pregnant women who received antenatal care services at the Putri Ayu health center in Jambi City, Indonesia, from February to August 2020. The subjects were selected via a proportional quota sampling method. Data were collected using a 4-part questionnaire on demographic characteristics, vulnerability perception, knowledge of HIV, and adherence to HIV screening. The collected data were analyzed using the chi-square test and logistic regression analysis. A P-value of less than 0.05 was considered statistically significant. Results: The majority of subjects were young (66.3%), unemployed (59.8%) and with low education level (71.7%). Only 33.7% of the respondents had good adherence to HIV screening. Of these individuals, 22.8% had good knowledge of HIV, 28.3% were adults, 40.2% were employed, and 28.3% had high education level. Adherence to HIV screening had significant association with knowledge (P=0.0001), age (P=0.0001), perceptions of vulnerability (P=0.017), occupation status (P=0.017), and education level (P=0.020). Conclusion: Based on the results, knowledge, perception, age, education level, and occupation of pregnant women significantly affect their adherence to HIV screening at the Putri Ayu Health Center, Jambi City.

The results showed that the educational media application of guidelines and pocketbooks on postnatal emergency management increased knowledge and skills. Conclusion: The two study groups had a significant effect on increasing the knowledge and skills of midwives in handling postnatal emergencies due to uterine atony.
Infants aged 0-6 months need adequate nutritional intake to support growth and development. These nutritional needs are highly dependent on breast milk (ASI). In breastfeeding mothers, problems often occur such as insufficient milk production and mothers do not understand the correct lactation management. Lactagogum and vitamin A play a role to help increase milk production. One of the fruits that contain laktagogum is young papaya, and carrots are foodstuffs that contain vitamin A. Young papaya and carrots are easily available foodstuffs. When the initial survey was conducted, most of the posyandu cadres and breastfeeding mothers in Kademangan village did not know the benefits of young papaya and carrots to help increase breast milk production for children. Community empowerment activities through posyandu are one solution to increase community knowledge in the use of young papaya and carrots to help increase production. This service activity was carried out in Kademangan Village, Jambi District outside the City, aiming to increase public knowledge in the use of young papaya and carrots to help increase breast milk production for breastfeeding mothers. The target of service is posyandu cadres (how many prang) and 30 nursing mothers. The flow of service before the activity was carried out by a pretest, then counseling and pocket books were given, followed by the practice of processing food made from young papaya and carrots, then a post test was carried out. The results of the activity showed an increase in the average score of knowledge in general before and after providing counseling to posyandu cadres and breastfeeding mothers. The average score of prior knowledge of posyandu cadres before the intervention was 7.60 increased to 9.80 and the average score of early knowledge of breastfeeding mothers was 7.60 increased to 9.86.
