Modern fitness programs require a special individual load as an optimal health-promoting preventive effect of physical activity. At the same time, the interaction of training effects from loads that differ in their nature can be negative. In this connection, a problem arises when an individual wants to develop several different physical qualities as much as possible at the same time. The research objective: to substantiate the effectiveness of fitness exercises on the motor readiness of women aged 23-33. Research methods: analysis of scientific and methodological literature, pedagogical observation, pedagogical testing, pedagogical experiment, methods of mathematical statistics. 40 women aged 23-33, average age 28±1.3 years, took part in the study. The discussed issues of systematic fitness exerciseses contribute not only to increasing the level of muscle training and improving the condition of the cardiovascular system, but also help to gain confidence in one's own strength, improve the emotional background, and also gain good physical shape. In the training process, strength abilities, flexibility, and endurance were improved; the performance of the cardiovascular and respiratory systems increased. An effective training combination was considered to be two aerobic trainings and two statodynamic trainings per week. The duration of aerobic training should be 30-45 minutes, provided that ones are held on different days. A comfortable and effective training regimen that takes place on the threshold of comfort is when women feel the load, but at the same time breathe deeply through the nose and without shortness of breath. Fitness training can improve: health and mental state (minimize the risk of many diseases, increase the level of work capacity and activity); physical abilities (increase endurance, strength, flexibility) of women aged 23-33.
Introduction. The problem of finding optimal strategies for overcoming stress by elite athletes remains relevant. Many authors study the problem of stress resistance in sports from the standpoint of forming a set of athlete’s personal qualities. The emotional intelligence is such athlete’s personal characteristics that affect the ability to withstand competitive stress. The aim of the study: to establish a relation between coping strategies and emotional intelligence of elite women’s handball players. Materials and methods: Athletes of the Ukrainian national women’s handball team (21 players aged 17 to 28, experience in this sport from 5 to 19 years) took part in the research. The following methods: questionnaire «Ways of coping behaviour» by R. Lazarus, the Nelson-Hall methodology devised to diagnose EI, was used. Data was processed by non-parametric descriptive statistics, Shapiro-Wilk normality test, and correlation analysis. Results: Strategies using by athletes to increase the ability of the psyche to adapt to anxiety, the level of emotional intelligence and its components, the characteristics of motivation to succeed and motivation to avoid failure have been identified. 61.9 % of elite women’s handball players showed a low level of general emotional intelligence; 38.1 % of people showed a middle level. Correlation analysis between athletes’ choice of coping strategies and manifestations of emotional intelligence revealed certain patterns. «Confrontational coping» correlated with empathy (r = 0.45). Coping «Distancing» correlated with self-control (r = 0.59) and self-motivation (r = 0.53). Coping «Positive reappraisal» correlated with emotional awareness (r = 0.47), self-emotion management (r = 0.52) and overall emotional intelligence (r = 0.59). Coping «Self-control» had a positive correlation with self-motivation (r = 0.53). Conclusions: The obtained results give grounds to assert the expediency of applying the correction of emotional intelligence by increasing one in the practice of psychological training of athletes, which will increase their stress resistance.
Background and Study Aim. In the basis of the boxer's power qualities is the ability to perceive and process external information. Therefore, in order to ensure the proper training of qualified boxers, there is a need to monitor the functional state of the boxer’s organism. The relationship between cognitive functions and special working capacity of elite boxers were studied. Material and Methods. The level of special working capacity was studied by the test of punching a boxer for 8 s at maximum speed. Cognitive functions (verbal and nonverbal intelligence, and word memory) were studied using the "Multipsychometer-05" hardware-software. 26 elite boxers, aged 18-24, were tested. Results. The research results showed that groups of boxers with different levels of special working capacity differ in terms of accuracy and efficiency when performing a cognitive task with verbal stimuli. The resulted that the high level of special working capacity of elite boxers is provided by the manifestation of verbal intelligence. Besides, the special working capacity is related with activation of mental functions of attention, speed of visual perception, operational and logical thinking. At the same time, significantly higher values of decision latency in this group of boxers indicate a slowdown in the processing of nonverbal information in boxers with a high level of special working capacity to work. It can be noted that the special working capacity of boxers has a direct relationship with quality and inverse relationship with the speed of information processing. The speed of memorizing verbal information is better in boxers with a high level of special working capacity. This fact indicates the importance of the verbal factor for the assimilation of special information in the training of boxers. The best values of accuracy and efficiency indicate the relationship of special working capacity in skilled boxers with the quality and volume of memorized verbal information. Conclusions. The special working capacity of elite boxers has a direct relationship with quality and inverse relationship with the speed of information processing. The elite boxers with a high level of special working capacity have a better speed of verbal information memorizing.
Introduction. The problem of finding the psychological resource of the athlete remains relevant. Success in sports largely depends on the athlete’s individual psychological characteristics. Many authors, based on research, conclude that the internal locus of control has a positive effect on performance in team and non-team sports. It seems to be an interesting scientific problem to study the gender aspect of this problem. The purpose of the study: to establish a relation between the locus of control and the characteristics of the response to the moving object of elite women handball players. Materials and Methods: Athletes of the Ukrainian National women handball team (21 players aged 17 to 28, experience in this sport from 5 to 19 years) took part in the research. To study the locus of athletes' control over significant events, the method for the research of the level of subjective control (LSC) by J. Rotter was used. Software and hardware complex “BOS-test-Professional” for psychological and psychophysiological diagnostics was used to determine the characteristics of the athlete’s response to the moving object. Results: A study of internality found that the majority of skilled handball players (61.9%) have a general internal type of locus of control. The vast majority of athletes tend to take responsibility in the field of productive (sports) relations (81%), areas of achievement (71.4%) and failures (52.4%). However, in areas such as family relationships, health and illness, most athletes share responsibility with the social environment and feel unable to control external circumstances. A correlation has been identified between the internality of locus of control and the ratio of nervous processes (inhibition and excitation) in elite women handball players. Higher stability of athletes' responses to a moving object is associated with a more pronounced internal locus of control, but only in the field of family relations. The obtained data indicate a more optimal functional state of the athlete’s central nervous system with internal locus of control. Conclusions: Family relationships and health & illness are the most sensitive areas for female athletes. This fact provides a basis for gender mainstreaming in psychological support activities.
The research of the physical development of men in the early middle agewith different types and levels of biogeo- metric profile in the course of health fitness classes are presented. Subjects: 50 men of 35-45 years old engaged in physical activities. Visual screening of the biogeometric profile state of men’s posture has been used to assess the indicators in the sagittal and frontal planes. It was specified the indicators of the state level of the biogeo- metric profile of the different types of posture with men in the early middle age. Comparative analysis of indi- cators of functional assessment of men's movements (using Functional Movement Screen) showed statistically significant decrease (p<0.01) in motor skills in all test exercises depending on age. Analysis of variance showed that the level of the state of the biogeometric profile of posture of men of the early middle ageis statistically sig- nificant (p<0.05) affects the functional assessment of the movement. Analysis of the dependence of functional assessment of movements on the level of biogeometric profile of the posture of men 36–45 years found that the maximum differences are observed between men 36–40 years and 41–45 years with a high level of biogeometric profile of their posture, and the minimum in men with average level, however, there are no statistically significant differences between the functional assessment of the movement of men 36–40 and 41–45 years with different levels of biogeometric posture profile.
The results of physical fitness level of highly skilled football players in the preparatory and competitive periods of the annual macrocycle are presented. The study involved 34 players of Football Club “Zorya” (Lugansk city) aging from 20 to 30. In the annual cycle of football players training season 2018/2019, the training process was carried out in accordance with the current program. An experimental program was used in the first and second preparatory periods of the annual training cycle in the season 2019/2020. Insufficient efficiency of the traditional program of physical training of highly skilled football players in the preparatory and competitive periods of the annual training cycle has been established. The athlete’s training level was marked by optimal indicators of readiness only by tests that characterized the explosive strength and joint flexibility. Experimental program was developed in order to increase the efficiency of the training process of highly skilled football players. The main feature of this program was the use of three innovative methods of modern fitness training: MAX®, Tabata, HIIT. Functional classes that based on the use of step platforms were offered instead of classical aerobics classes. The results of the physical fitness testing of FC “Zorya” football players at the end of the preparatory periods of the 2019/2020 season indicated a significantly better level of athlete’s readiness for the next competitive periods comparing to the corresponding periods of the previous season. Experimental program effectiveness was confirmed by the results of the FC “Zorya” team in the championship of the Ukrainian Premier League 2019/2020.
The article analyses and summarizes the views on the coach’s personality in sports that are available in modern scientific and methodological literature and in the Internet resources. Attention is drawn to the fact that although the points of view differ, it is possible to single out those properties of a coach's personality that, according to scientists, determine the achievement of success in sports activities: gnostic, design, constructive, communicative and organizational properties. The results of own research include the motivational component of the coach’s personality; organizational and communication skills as components of their pedagogical mastery; professionally important personality traits of coaches that determine the individual style of their activities; data from the analysis of the degree of formation of professional burnout and the current state of coaches. The obtained data are compared and explained according to the professional categories of coaches (A and B), who participated in the research. The formation and improvement of the personal qualities necessary for the successful professional activity of a football coach are very important and should be under the constant control of the individual; changes of admissible personal indicators of professionally significant properties in trainers are related to the level of their professional skill, depend on level of emotional burnout and deviation from autogenous norm (according to an indicator of vegetative coefficient); revealed mainly low and intermediate level of ability to empathize in the surveyed coaches, regardless of category, age and experience, suggests that they have insufficient training of pedagogical skills.

IntroductionFederation Internationale de Gymnastique (FIG) replaced the traditional vaulting horse with an apparatus «vault table» in 2001. Significant changes in the vaulting apparatus influenced onto the biomechanical structure of gymnast's technique (Naundorf et al, 2008; Sands & McNeal, 2002). Nowadays the technology of biomechanical analysis with motion capture is one of the most perspective methods of methods of the registration of skilled athlete's motor actions. Despite the fact that improving of the vaulting technique of skilled gymnasts is one of the actual problems in the sport training, this problem has not been studied completely from the aspect of biomechanical analysis. The hypothesis of this research was the objective competition data for skilled female gymnasts obtained by biomechanical video and computer technology, may be used in order to increase their training process efficiency. The aim of this investigation was to determine the biomechanical characteristics of technique for skilled female gymnasts performing vault group «Round-off, flic-flac» on «vault table».Material & methodsWe used the following methods: biomechanical video & computer analysis of kinematic characteristics of the vault; pedagogical experiment, statistical methods.20 skilled female gymnasts - the members of Ukraine's National Team - performed «Round-off, flicflac » vaults on «vault table». These vaults were filmed using Sony Handicam DCR-VX2100E digital camera (25 frames per second) positioned in line with the table, perpendicular to the direction of the runway. Then video film was processed with IBM computer by «BioVideo» software which has been developed by kinesiology department, National University of Physical Education and Sports of Ukraine. The reading of coordinates of points of the athlete's body was carried out from the stop frame of the recording by developed software. This software was used for obtaining the following biomechanical characteristics: horizontal, vertical and the resulting linear velocities of the center of mass (CM) and centers of joint rotation of the athlete's body; angular movement and angular velocities of segments. As a model of the human support-motion apparatus a 14-segment, branched kinematical circuit was used, which parts under the geometrical characteristics met to large segments of a human body, and frames of reference met to coordinates of the basic joints (20 points were selected). The vault was divided into seven phases: I - approach phase; II - hurdle-step phase; III - on-board phase; IV - preflight phase; V - on-table phase; VI - post-flight phase; VII - landing.ResultsWe counted the vaults number of different categories performed by artistic women gymnasts in the finals of Olympic Games 2004, World Championships 2005-2006, European Championships 2004-2006 and Ukrainian Championships 2004-2006. As a result we confirmed that the most common vault was «Round-off, flic-flac». The number of «Round-off, flic-flac» vaults was 58 from 144 vaults (40.3 %) performed by 72 women gymnasts in all 18 competitions. We determined that significant number of errors just in gymnast's technique incurred deduction in scoring. We measured quantitative kinematic characteristics of female gymnast's motor actions at «Round-off, flic-flac» vault on «vault table» (Table 1). The leading elements of the vault movement structure are the biomechanical characteristics of the post-flight phase: time in air, height offthe table, horizontal distance from the table, which was confirmed by correlation analysis. The correlation coefficients between these characteristics and vaulting score were r=0.50-0.75, pWe have developed the training program for skilled female gymnasts which was based on the results of biomechanical analysis in order to improve their «Round-off, flic-flac» vault performance. This program consists of seven complexes with special physical exercises which were aimed to the improving the biomechanical characteristics of gymnast's motor actions technique in each vault phase. …
