AbstractDie Synthese der natürlichen Dehydrofusarinsäure (VI) gelang in guter Ausbeute durch Alkyliercing der leicht zugänglichen 5‐Methyl‐2‐picolinsäure (V) mit Allylchlorid. Die unnatürliche Δα,β‐Dehydrofusarinsäure (111), sowie die Bis‐dehydrofusarinsäure (VII) wurden nach Modell‐Versuchen am 3‐Butyl‐pyridin (Ia) gemäss Formelschema aus Fusarinsäure (I) hergestellt.
