AbstractDie aus 1,6;3,4‐Dianhydro‐D‐galaktopyranose (2) erstmals hergestellte 4‐Thio‐D‐glucose, welche fast ausschliesslich in der Thiophanoseform 19 vorliegt, ist hygroskopisch, oxydationsempfindlich und zersetzlich. Die wässerigen und äthanolischen Lösungen der 4‐Thio‐D‐glucose sind besser haltbar, ebenso das in der Pyranoseform vorliegende Natriummercaptid 15.

AbstractDas als Substanz H bezeichnete biologische Umwandlungsprodukt der Fusarinsäure (I) wurde als S(+)‐Fusarinolsäure (VIII) erkannt. Beweisend für die Konstitution VIII war die Umwandlung der Dehydrofusarinsäure (V) über die rac.‐Fusarinolsäure (Ia) in das (+)‐Fusarinolsäure‐(+)‐camphersulfonat (VIIIa), welches mit einem aus natürlicher (+)‐Fusarinolsäure (VIII) hergestellten Präparat identisch war. Die S‐Konfiguration der natürlichen (+)‐Fusarinolaäure ergab sich aus der Synthese von VIII bzw. VIIIa aus der Dinatriumverbindung VI des 2‐Carboxy‐5‐methyl‐pyridins and S(+)‐2‐Benzyloxy‐propyljodid (VIIa), welches konfigurativ mit der L‐Milchsäure verknüpft wurde.

AbstractAus β‐Pentaacetyl‐D‐glucose wurde unter Variation und methodischer Verbesserung der Reaktionsbedingungen über die bekannten Zwischenprodukte II, III, IIIa die eben‐falls bekannte α‐Acetobro n‐D‐chinovose (IV) hergestellt. Der Übergang in die 1‐Thio‐D‐chinovose‐Reihe, V, Va, VI bis VIc, erfolgte in durchwegs sehr guten Ausbeuten aus der Acetohalogenose IV mit Kalium‐äthylxanthogenat und Folgeraktionen, bzw. mit Kaliumthioacetat. Die krist., wenig beständige 1‐Thio‐D‐chinovose wurde als β‐Pyranose VIa formuliert.
AbstractDurch Umsetzung von D‐Glucosamin mit dem bisher unbekannten N‐Nitroso‐methylcarbamylazid (VII) wurde das Beta‐Zytotoxin Streptozotocin (VIII) synthetisch präparativ zugänglich gemacht.
