Residues of four herbicides and a new experimental material (in two forms and three doses) was evaluated with six grasses involving five different species. Studies were conducted in the greenhouse by sampling soil from two different depths after one year of her bicidal application. The differences were found to be significant both for herbicides and for soil depths, for germination percentage and seedling growth. The grass species also responded differentially to the herbicidal residues. Even within species, the different cultivars of Kentucky bluegrass responded differently to herbicidal residues.
