As a new area into the national economic development strategy, the overall economic development and industrial trans- fer ability of Wanjiang urban belt is the focus of all government departments and the community. Based on the ＂Anhui Statistical Yearbook（2011 ）＂, the area assessment index rules formulated by the office of Wanjiang urban belt is referred to. The mean principal component analysis and cluster analysis, empirical analysis and comprehensive assessment of the comprehensive eco- nomic strength of Wanjiang urban belt are used. The results show： Hefei and Wuhu have the highest level of economic develop- ment and the strongest city in the total economy ; the rest of the city is relatively in total economy and the economical development below the average level. The following measures to improve Wanjiang City＇s economic competitiveness are suggested： improving the investment environment to attraet project floor; innovative investment mechanisms, and strengthening independent innova- tion.

This paper based on the data of the statistics on science and technology activities of industrial enterprises—2010 and statistical Yearbook of Anhui—2010,using the BC2 data envelopment analysis modal,from the perspective of regional comparison,evaluates and analyzes the Innovation Performance of the medium-sized industrial enterprise of 17 cities in Anhui province.The result shows in addition to Bozhou,Chuzhou,Lu'an,the innovation performance of the medium-sized industrial enterprise in other cities is inefficient.Besides,Innovation Performance of the large and medium enterprise in Anhui province is low,input-output structure in irrational,the allocation of resources is inefficient.By the further analysis,we found that scale invalid or diseconomical of scale is the root cause of the invalid of DEA.

under the ideological background of the rise of technology in the central.This paper based on the data of statistical Yearbook of China's High-Tech industry,analyzing the integrated technical efficiency,resource allocation efficiency and technical progress index of High-Tech industry in central six provinces from the year 2004 to 2009.The result show: The invalid of the integrated efficiency of aerospace is the main reason that leading to lower the overall efficiency of High-Tech industry.The value of TFP in computer and office equipment manufacturing industry and the index of technological progress is the highest.The technological progress index playing an more important role in promoting the development of High-Tech industry than resources configuration index.Finally several suggestions are given that improving the efficiency of non-effective industries.

This paper make a comparative analysis on the development of high-tech industries in Anhui and Jiangsu,Zhejiang as well as Shanghai by using the monitoring date during 2009-2010 issued by Ministry of Science and Technology.The result shows that,comparing with Jiangsu,Zhejiang and Shanghai,the high-tech industries in Anhui exist the following problems:the shortage of capital investment,the weak independent innovation capability and the low industrial concentration,which are the reason that the development of high-tech industries in Anhui falls behind those in Jiangsu,Zhejiang and Shanghai.Finally,it proposes that the key to improve the development level of high-tech industries in Anhui and narrow regional development gap,is to continue to increase scientific and technological input,and expand interregional scientific and technological exchang,and strengthen government policy support.
