To solve the problem of unclear loom openings and sizing breakage for the high-count and high-density carded pure cotton fabric, the formula of PVA, modified starch, AG-C slurry of solid polypropylene-based as the main components are designed. The test result of the pure high-count cotton fabrics before and after using the AG-C sizing effect are compared for the weaving effect, and the consumption of size. The test results show that the adhesive property of AG-C size is good. Adding amount of PVA could reduce the consumption of PVA. The effect is remarkable in improving the size coat flexibility and increasing the efficiency of hairiness rate.
