AbstractThe new title anion (IIIa) and the reported complexes (IIIb), (Va), and (Vb) can be prepared by external acidification of (AsPh4)2MS4 and (AsPh4)2MOS3 in the presence of S8 or, in the case of the Mo compounds (VII) and (IX) without acidification, but by the use of protonated ammonium salts.
AbstractThe compounds (IV) and (VI) containing the title anions are prepared as shown in the scheme and characterized by XRD, UV/VIS‐, IR‐, and 77Se‐NMR spectroscopy.
