To cope with the lack of specialised tools that teachers can make their owns and use at school, the goal of this study, located at the crossroads between computer science and education, is to develop a software which enables teachers to create digital multimedia contents for lessons. We describe the carrying out of a tool's prototype whose HCI - based on "wizard" HCI - makes it easier to use for "novice" teachers. A test of the prototype on a panel of eleven teachers gives interesting results that lead us to think of possible future evolutions for this tool.
This work deals with a multimedia authoring tool for teachers. This authoring tool is based on MPEG4 technology in order to allow creation of standard links between the multimedia elements (texts, images, videos, sounds, 3D or 2D synthetic objects).
Photo-written external cavity laser are a solution for DWDM sources. However, instability of the output optical power has been reported. We present our modelling results and the parameters we obtained to optimise the device. An experimental laser has been realised which shows good performances for access network applications.
