A field experiment was carried out at the Research Farm, Department of Agronomy, CCS HAU, Hisar, during the kharif seasons of 2023 and 2024 to investigate the effects of sewage sludge, FYM, and nitrogen levels on fodder sorghum performance. The experiment was conducted using a split plot design, with sewage sludge (2.5 and 5 t/ha) and FYM (2.5, 5.0, and 7.5 t/ha) as the main factors. In subplots, four nitrogen levels were used (control, 50%, 75%, and 100% RDN) with thrice replication for statistical accuracy. Results from both years (2023 and 2024) showed that the application of sewage sludge at 5 t/ha produced taller plants, greater dry matter accumulation, and higher fodder yield (465.8 and 472.6 q/ha), along with improved quality (HCN and crude protein), compared to the 2.5 t/ha application level. Among FYM levels, significantly taller plant, higher dry matter accumulation, fodder yield (468.4 and 475.7 q/ha), HCN and crude protein were found with the application of FYM at 7.5 t/ha over 5 and 2.5 t/ha FYM levels. Among nitrogen levels, application of 100% RDN were found significantly higher crop parameters viz. plant height, dry matter accumulation, fodder yield (499.3 and 506.4 q/ha), HCN and crude protein over lower levels and control. With the application of 100% RDN, HCN content was increased by 12.78 and 21.90%, while crude protein increased by 9.80 and 9.30% during 2023 and 2024, respectively over the control. Integrated application of 5 t/ha sewage sludge, 7.5 t/ha FYM, and 100% RDN ensures optimal crop performance.
In this paper, we introduce the concept of cyclic orbital contraction mappings which generalizes the concept of cyclic contraction mappings. We establish the existence of best proximity point of these mappings in the framework of CAT_p(0) metric spaces. Also, we study the existence of best proximity point theorems for cyclic orbital contraction mappings in uniformly convex Banach spaces.
In this paper, the notions of p-cyclic ϕ-contraction and p-cyclic Kannan nonexpansive mappings are introduced, and the existence of coupled best proximity points for such mappings is established.
Purpose To examine the clinical feasibility of workstation-based CT fractional flow reserve (CT-FFR) for coronary artery disease (CAD) evaluation during preprocedural planning in patients undergoing transcatheter aortic valve replacement (TAVR). Materials and Methods In this retrospective single-center study, 434 patients scheduled for TAVR between 2018 and 2020 were screened for study inclusion; a relevant proportion of patients (35.0% [152 of 434]) was not suitable for evaluation due to insufficient imaging properties. A total of 112 patients (mean age, 82.1 years ± 6.7 [SD]; 58 [52%] men) were included in the study. Invasive angiography findings, coronary CT angiography results, and Agatston score were acquired and compared with on-site CT-FFR computation for evaluation of CAD and prediction of major adverse cardiovascular events (MACE) within a 24-month follow-up. Results Hemodynamic relevant CAD, as suggested by CT-FFR of 0.80 or less, was found in 41 of 70 (59%) patients with stenosis of 50% or more. MACE occurred in 23 of 112 (20.5%) patients, from which 14 of 23 had stenoses with CT-FFR of 0.80 or less (hazard ratio [HR], 3.33; 95% CI: 1.56, 7.10; P = .002). CT-FFR remained a significant predictor of MACE after inclusion in a multivariable model with relevant covariables (HR, 2.89; 95% CI: 1.22, 6.86; P = .02). An Agatston score of 1000 Agatston units or more (HR, 2.25; 95% CI: 0.98, 5.21; P = .06) and stenoses of 50% or more determined via invasive angiography (HR, 0.94; 95% CI: 0.41, 2.17; P = .88) were not significant predictors of MACE. Conclusion Compared with conventional CAD markers, CT-FFR better predicted adverse outcomes after TAVR. A relevant portion of the screened cohort, however, was not suitable for CT-based CAD evaluation. Congenital left ventricular outflow obstruction represents a multilevel obstruction with several morphological forms. It can involve the subvalvular, valvar, or supravalvular portion of the aortic valve complex, and may coexist. Computed tomography (CT) plays an important supplementary role in the evaluation of patients with congenital LVOT obstruction. Unlike transthoracic echocardiography and cardiovascular magnetic resonance (CMR) imaging, it is not bounded by a small acoustic window, needs for anaesthesia or sedation, and metallic devices. Current generations of CT scanners with excellent spatial and temporal resolution, high pitch scanning, wide detector system, dose reduction algorithms, and advanced 3-dimensional postprocessing techniques provide a high-quality alternative to CMR or diagnostic cardiac catheterization. Radiologists performing CT in young children should be familiar with the advantages and disadvantages of CT and with the typical morphological imaging features of congenital left ventricular outflow obstruction.
Recent years have seen a significant and eye-opening transformation in the Indian educational sector. Although "Massive Open Online Course" (MOOC) platforms have been available to students for learning purposes since the beginning, its potential has only lately been recognised. The purpose of this essay is to examine and contrast the major MOOC platforms utilised to provide courses in India, as well as the numerous difficulties they encounter. To accomplish these goals, a detailed examination of the four most established and popular MOOC platforms is conducted. NPTEL (2003), mooKIT (2014), IITBombayX (2017), and SWAYAM (2017) are among them. The lack of digital infrastructure, the necessity for investment, and learners' capacity to adapt to MOOCs are a few of the researchers' top concerns with relation to how well MOOCs perform in India. It was also realised that there may be a possible compromise in the calibre of the research work done, the requirement to raise the calibre of information produced, and the necessity to address the variety of demands of Indian students
By use of Kannan contraction via interpolation and within the context of Bipolar Metric Spaces, we demonstrate the fixed-point theorem for contravariant mappings. Illustrative example is also provided
Network and internet applications are growing in popularity daily. Security and safety procedures are needed for sensitive information. By transforming data from its original form into an unreadable one, encryption algorithms offer the required defence against attacks by data intruders. Now a days, username/password authentication makes up the majority of web authentication. Data security can be achieved via a method known as cryptography. In the past, military data was kept secure using cryptography to safeguard national security. After the advent of communication tools, the range of uses for cryptography has significantly increased today; cryptography is primarily necessary to ensure that data are safeguarded against penetrations and to prevent the practise of spying. The state of the art for several different cryptographic methods used in networking applications is discussed in this paper with help of examples.
The Coronary Artery Calcium Data and Reporting System (CAC-DRS) is a standardized reporting method for calcium scoring on computed tomography. CAC-DRS is applied on a per-patient basis and represents the total calcium score with the number of vessels involved. There are 4 risk categories ranging from CAC-DRS 0 to CAC-DRS 3. CAC-DRS also provides risk prediction and treatment recommendations for each category. The main strengths of CAC-DRS include a detailed and meaningful representation of CAC, improved communication between physicians, risk stratification, appropriate treatment recommendations, and uniform data collection, which provides a framework for education and research. The major limitations of CAC-DRS include a few missing components, an overly simple visual approach without any standard reference, and treatment recommendations lacking a basis in clinical trials. This consistent yet straightforward method has the potential to systemize CAC scoring in both gated and non-gated scans.
A flexible instrument with a wide range of possible uses is mathematics. The Queen of all sciences is mathematics. In our daily lives, mathematics is quite important. In the modern world, practically all discoveries and facts are tied to it. An equal progress in mathematics came before every major advancement in science. Nearly every area, including physics, engineering, finance, and many more, uses mathematics. Weather forecasting, teller machines, safe websites, video games, statistical data analysis, polls, and many more applications all use mathematics. From the beginning of human society, "geometry" has played a significant role. Early folks with tools studied the shape of the wheel in an effort to find a way to reduce friction. The "Father of Geometry," the Greek mathematician Euclid of Alexandria, named it after the combination of two words: "geo" for the earth and "metron" for balance. This paper aims to provide an overview of a few mathematical applications.
An experiment was conducted during spring 2020 at Student Farm, CCS Haryana Agricultural UniversityHisar, Haryana to study the effect of single cross hybrids, irrigation sources and organic manures on growthindices, phenology, cob dimensions and economics of maize. The experiment was laid out in split plotdesign with 3 replications consisting of two single cross hybrids(HQPM-1 and HQPM-5) and two irrigationsources (Canal water and Treated sewage water) in main plots while four levels of organic manure (Nomanure, 100% RDN though FYM, 100% RDN though vermicompost and 50% RDN though FYM + 50%RDNthough vermicompost) in subplots.HQPM-1 had earlier flowering, higher growth rate (absolute, crop andrelative), girth and length of cob, gross and net returns in comparison to HQPM-5. Similarly, application oftreated sewage water recorded earlier flowering, higher growth rates, cob dimensions and economics ascompared to canal water. So the treated water can be used for replacement of conventional water. Highestgrowth rates, cob dimensions, gross returns and earlier flowering was recorded with application of 100%RDN through vermicompost. However, highest net returns was achieved under 100% RDN through FYM.
Transcatheter aortic valve replacement (TAVR) and transcatheter mitral valve replacement (TMVR) are catheter-based interventional techniques for treating patients having high risk for surgical aortic or mitral valve replacement, respectively. While TAVR is a technique for treating severe aortic stenosis, TMVR is primarily used for treating mitral regurgitation. Echocardiography is the initial imaging modality used for a detailed assessment of the mitral and aortic valve lesions. Multidetector computed tomography (MDCT) is then used as a complementary tool to provide additional information essential for pre-procedure planning. High spatial resolution and good temporal resolution of MDCT along with multiplanar reconstruction technique permit a comprehensive assessment relevant for the multiple aspects of preprocedural planning. The current article outlines the MDCT acquisition protocols, reconstruction techniques, and assessment of various essential parameters for TAVR and TMVR.
The aim of this paper is to prove a common fixed point theorem for two pairs of ω-compatible and ω-weakly compatible maps for extending and generalizing the results of Murthy and Prasad [13] in modular metric spaces. The main result is also illustrated by an example to demonstrate the degree of validity of our hypothesis.
The present study designed to evaluate the efficacy of Doublesynch and Ovsynch estrus synchronization protocols, preovulatory follicle (POF) and luteal profile in cyclic Murrah buffaloes (n=83) in summer and winter season at farm and field level. In Ovsynch protocol, buffaloes were administered (i.m.) two injections of 10µg, Buserelin acetate on days 0 and 9, and an injection of 500µg, Cloprostenol on day 7. In Doublesynch protocol, an additional injection (i.m.) of 500µg, Cloprostenol 2 days before the start of Ovsynch protocol was administered. The ultrasonography (USG) and blood sampling was performed on each day of treatment, on day of estrus and 10 days post-AI. The conception rate in Ovsynch treatment group during summer and winter season was 20% and 27.8%, respectively and in Doublesynch groups, it was 40% and 48% in summer and winter season, respectively. Overall mean diameter of POF on day of estrus was larger (p<0.05) in pregnant than non-pregnant buffalo (14.6 ± 0.4 vs 12.7 ± 0.3 mm, respectively). The POF diameter was positively correlated with estradiol concentration on the day of AI and corpus luteum (CL) diameter on day 10 post-AI (E2: r=0.84, p<0.05; CL: r=0.72, p<0.05). Doublesynch group’s buffaloes had higher (p<0.05) ovulation rate after first GnRH injection than Ovsynch group than Ovsynch in both season. It was concluded that Doublesynch protocol can be used as estrus synchronization protocol in both seasons to achieve acceptable conception rate with size of preovulatory follicle greatly affecting the fertility by influencing estradiol levels and luteal profile in buffalo.
Abernethy malformation is a rare condition in which portomesenteric blood bypasses the liver and drains into the systemic vein through a partial or complete shunt. It is categorised into two types on the basis of the shunt pattern between the portal vein and systemic vein. Abernethy malformation is associated with multiple congenital anomalies and acquired complications. A detailed understanding of anatomy and embryology is a prerequisite to interpret the imaging findings. Computed tomography and magnetic resonance angiography can delineate the shunt anatomy and evaluate the concomitant malformations. It is essential to differentiate Abernethy malformation from intrahepatic portosystemic shunts and acquired extrahepatic portosystemic shunts. Mild metabolic abnormalities are treated with dietary modifications and medical therapy. Definitive treatment is done in symptomatic patients. Generally, type I Abernethy patients undergo liver transplantation, and type II undergo shunt occlusion by surgery or transcatheter coiling.
Conotruncal anomalies, also referred to as outflow tract anomalies, are congenital heart defects that result from abnormal septation of the great vessels' outflow tracts. The major conotruncal anomalies include tetralogy of Fallot, double-outlet right ventricle, transposition of the great arteries, truncus arteriosus, and interrupted aortic arch. Other defects, which are often components of the major anomalies, include pulmonary atresia with ventricular septal defect, pulmonary valve agenesis, aortopulmonary window, and double-outlet left ventricle. CT has emerged as a robust diagnostic tool in preoperative and postoperative assessment of various congenital heart diseases, including conotruncal anomalies. The data provided with multidetector CT imaging are useful for treatment planning and follow-up monitoring after surgery or intervention. Unlike echocardiography and MRI, CT is not limited by a small acoustic window, metallic devices, and need for sedation or anesthesia. Major advances in CT equipment, including dual-source scanners, wide-detector scanners, high-efficiency detectors, higher x-ray tube power, automatic tube current modulation, and advanced three-dimensional postprocessing, provide a low-risk, high-quality alternative to diagnostic cardiac catheterization and MRI. This review explores the various conotruncal anomalies and elucidates the role of CT imaging in their pre- and postoperative assessment. Keywords: CT, CT Angiography, Stents, Pediatrics © RSNA, 2022
Introduction/purpose: The aim of this paper is to present the concept of the generalized ∅-weak contractive condition involving various combinations of d(x,y) in modular metric spaces. Methods: Conventional theoretical methods of functional analysis. Results: This study presents the result of (Murthy & Vara Prasad, 2013) for a single-valued mapping satisfying a generalized ∅ -weak contractive condition involving various combinations of d(x,y). It is generalized in the setting of modular metric spaces, and then it is proved that this single-valued map satisfies the property P. In the end, an example is given in support of the result. Conclusion: With proper generalisations, it is possible to formulate well-known results of classical metric spaces to the case of modular metric spaces.
