The paper sheds the light on treasury efficiency. It discusses the definition of treasury efficiency, its importance, benefits and problems. Then it further discusses about improvement in treasury efficiency. It also converses about the treasury efficiency in practice, treasury efficiency surveys. In the last it argues about treasury management model to achieve treasury efficiency. Optimizing operational and financial efficiency has been among the main objectives for treasurers for some years. Increasing operational efficiency in treasury management is closely connected to risk management. There are wide variety of ways to increase efficiecy, which in turn mitigates the risk of human failure and fraud. Furthermore, efficient business processes reduce costs, which reduce pressure on marging, and facilitate better decision-making based on greater visibility over information and transactions. One of the foundations for achieving efficiency is to have full visibility over cash flow in all currencies and countries.

The very favourable geographical position of Dubrovnik made its development based on maritime and merchant activities very successful through its history. George Bernard Shaw was enchanted by this beautiful city, about which he said “those who seek paradise on Earth should come to Dubrovnik and see Dubrovnik”, as well as, famously, describing it as “the pearl of the Adriatic”. Dubrovnik, with its amazing Old Town, became a UNESCO World Heritage site in 1979. The ISPA 2011 venue is the Centre for Advanced Academic Studies in Dubrovnik, which was founded by the University of Zagreb as a public academic institution for international scientific programmes. We received 233 submissions presenting research and applications of signal and image processing. The program committee selected 136 submissions for presentation at ISPA 2011. The papers were organized into 25 oral sessions that were scheduled into three parallel program tracks. The ISPA 2011 program includes nine interesting special sessions presenting state-of-the-art on various aspects of image and signal processing. The special sessions were organized and are chaired by distinguished researchers from both academia and industry. The topics of special sessions are:
