PT XYZ is a crumb rubber company that produces SIR 10 and rubber smoke sheets (RSS). As the biggest crumb rubber-produced company in Indonesia PT XYZ makes the production process sustainable. The often problem in this company is machine breakdown that occurs downtime value to be high. The highest downtime value from October 2020 until March 2021 was the Prebreaker Machine whose total downtime value was 1875 minutes. The Reliability Centered Maintenance (RCM) method is used for decreasing downtime value. The RCM is integrated with Failure Mode Effect Analysis (FMEA) for analyzing The Highest Risk Priority Number (RPN). The research results that the optimal maintenance time of the Prebreaker Machine is 51 hours which means the Prebreaker Machine is maintained after operation for 51 hours.
The concept of halal is an important factor that must be considered in the halal lifestyle of Muslim consumers, not only in consuming food, but as a factor of food safety, cleanliness and assurance of quality, quality and nutrition of what is consumed. According to Nusran and Mohd Azemi (2021), Halal is a value system and lifestyle adopted by Muslims. Halal means permissible in Islam – prepared according to certain parameters of Islamic Law. (Fuad Mohd, 2019). Halal lifestyle education is needed as one of the handling of various serious problems that arise due to the low awareness and understanding of young millennial consumers about the halal concept by increasing the empowerment of the millennial generation about the halal lifestyle. This paper is intended to determine the effect of awareness and knowledge of the halal concept on the millennial generation. Descriptive statistics are used to identify respondents' attitudes towards halal food requirements. The method of collecting data in the field uses a questionnaire system and purposive method which is processed by linear regression analysis method. The results of the analysis obtained are that there is a significant relationship between halal certification, halal lifestyle, awareness and knowledge of halal concepts in the millennial generation. Halal lifestyle education affects awareness and knowledge about halal lifestyle. The official halal certificate has a significant effect on the buying interest of millennial consumers. Awareness and understanding of the concept of halal have a low effect on the buying interest of the millennial generation. From the existing data, it can be concluded that the educational activities carried out can increase the knowledge of the millennial generation about the halal lifestyle and understanding of the point of prohibition of food.
Abstract Inventory control is the efforts made by a company so that the production process can be optimally fulfilled with the smallest possible risk. The problem of raw material requirements and costs incurred for the production process is very important, because with the existence of raw materials the production process can run smoothly. This study aims to determine the amount of economical Vannamei shrimp raw material inventory and to know when the order should be done with PT. XYZ Makassar. Where the need for raw materials in 2017 was 1,855,558 kg. Therefore, companies must control the supply of raw materials that are economical and efficient in order to meet the production process for each specified period, determine the optimal waiting time for the arrival of raw materials and determine the quantity of orders that are economical. Based on the results of research determining the optimal waiting time for arrival of raw materials at PT XYZ Makassar using the Economic Order Quantity (EOQ) method, obtained an economical raw material inventory of 20,672 kg per message with a total inventory cost of Rp.136,586,577 each time message. With the Stock Out Cost (SOC) and Extra Carrying Cost (ECC) method, the optimal waiting time for arrival of raw materials is 3 days with a minimum cost of Rp. 1,836,979,830 and with the Reorder Point (ROP) method, the results of the order are made again at the level inventory in warehouse 18,555 kg.
Humans are a central point in a work system because basically humans are not only acting as planners and designers of work systems, but also as executors and controllers. Human limitations become a guideline in designing an ergonomic work system, where the focus of ergonomics involves three components, namely humans, machines / equipment and the environment that interact with each other which results in an inseparable work system. This study aims to determine the risk of skeletal muscle injury that is potentially experienced by bipang production operators, especially in bipang grading and filling activities. The method used to analyze the operator's work posture is the quick exposure check (QEC) and rapid entire body assessment (REBA) methods, this research is carried out by direct observation of the research object, filling out the operator and observer questionnaires and conducting literature studies to collect data related to research. Based on the QEC method, the work posture of Bipang IKM employees on the flatten section has an exposure level of 66.67% while slicing bipang has an exposure level of 60.49% which means that further research and changes are needed. While using the REBA method, the bipang flatten activity obtained by the final score is 10, which means it is at a high level and immediate handling is needed, while the bipang slicing production process is at level 2 which means that immediate handling is needed, the position can cause muscle injury so it requires work improvement. By proposing improvements to work facilities so that the bipang flatten and slicing activities are carried out simultaneously, with a more efficient processing time of 10 minutes to 2 minutes and more optimal work productivity. Based on the REBA method, there is an action level 1 which means that the work posture can be accepted and there is no need for improvement. So that the increase in production when using bipang molding tool is 9,572 piece/day.
This study aims to examine and analyze the impact of work attitude, Total Productive Maintenance (TPM) on the Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE) and production continuity and the other effect of Work Attitude and Total Productive Maintenance (TPM) on production continuity: The mediating role of Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE). The research was conducted at PT. Semen Tonasa i.e. units II to V unit which is the largest cement producer in eastern Indonesia. Withdrawal of respondents did with the criteria that only respondents yang having their respective sectors and who have work experience of at least one year were used as samples. Results of analysis Partial Least Square (PLS) Version 2.0.M3 used in analyzing the contribution of exogenous variables on endogenous variables directly, Sobel Test was used for pushing analyze the contribution of the indirect effect (mediation) whereas importance- performance analysis (IPA) to analogous interpret the relationship loading factor value and the average value. The results of this study provide evidence of work attitude has a positive and significant effect on the overall equipment effectiveness (OEE), total productive maintenance (TPM) has a positive and significant effect on overall equipment effectiveness (OEE), work attitude, total productive maintenance (TPM) and overall equipment effectiveness (OEE) positive and significant impact on production continuity.
