Amanita conara, A. costaricensis, and A. garabitoana are proposed as new species. These taxa are added to twelve previously described species known from, or reported here for the first time from, the region of study: A. advena, A. arocheae, A. brunneolocularis, A. colombiana, A. ebumea, A. farinosa, A. flavoconia var. inquinata, A. fuligineodisca, A. muscaria subsp. flavivolvata, A. polypyramis, A. sororcula, and A. xylinivolva. Amanita flavoconia var. sinapicolor is proposed to be a taxonomic synonym of A. flavoconia var. inquinata. An unusual species of Amanita subsection Vittadiniae is given the code Amanita sp. HONI and treated only in a key to regional species of Amanita section Lepidella. A gazetteer is provided for Costa Rican sites at which Amanita species have been collected.
Specimens of the genus Amanita, collected from northern Thailand and deposited in the fungal herbarium of Chiang Mai University and some overseas herbaria were studied. Twenty-five taxa, including eighteen new to Thailand, are described briefly. A key to species is provided. The new records for Thailand are A. alboflavescens, A. avellaneosquamosa, A. chepangiana, A. clarisquamosa, A. flavipes sensu lato, A. fritillaria, A. fuliginea, A hongoi, A. japonica, A. manginiana sensu W.F. Chiu, A. obsita, A. ovalispora, A. pseudoporphyria, A. rubrovolvata, A. sinensis, A. sinocitrina, A. subglobosa, and A. virgineoides. A type study of A. pudibunda is included, Amanita frostiana sensu R. Heim is proposed to be properly diagnosed as A. rubrovolvata.
Four species of Amanita from Garhwal Himalaya are described in detail and illustrated for the first time from India - A. concentrica, A. rubrovolvata, A. subglobosa, and one that is not yet named and is given a designating code, "PAK5."
Since the appearance of Amanitaceae of India in 1990, there has been no publication addressing the current state of knowledge of the family in India. The present paper represents a step toward filling this gap and providing an updated list of those members of the Amanitaceae described, illustrated or listed from different parts of India to date, The list includes 53 names, of which 50 names are combined in Amanita and the rest in Limacella. Revision of collections determined originally as European or North American taxa has yielded fifteen new records for India: A. avellaneosquamosa, A. caesareoides, A. clarisquamosa, A. concentrica, A. exitialis, A. liquii, A. oberwinklerana, A. orientigemmata, A. pantheina var. lutea, A. pseudoporphyria, A. pseudovaginata, A. rubrovolvata, A. subjunquillea var. subjunquillea, A. subjunquillea var. alba, and A. umbrinolutea. It is projected that the number of Amanita taxa in India may exceed 100.
ANSI/IEEE Std 1149.1 defines a standard implementation of boundary-scan now built into many catalog and application-specific integrated circuits. The standard was developed as a solution to two continuing trends that are having a significant, adverse, impact on the task of testing loaded printed wiring boards: increasing chip complexity and greater miniaturization. The former increases the difficulty of test generation, while the latter impedes access for the bed-of-nails and hand-held probes on which many established test techniques depend.
During study of the paratypes of Amanita mortenii, it was thought that a number of them were not contaxic with the holotype. Study of several additional collections including observations on fresh material lead us to conclude that emendation of the species was inappropriate.
Amanita longitibiale is described as new from central Mexico and North Carolina, U.S.A. In Amanita section Phalloideae, it has the unique combination of cylindric spores, pigmented pileipellis, slender and radicating stipe bulb, and saccate volva.

This text is based on material that is consistent with collections that match the first illustration of A. constricta in the set of smaller illustrations circulated as an addendum to Thiers' Agaricales (1982) section on Amanita. The illustration shows immature material with a distinctly strangulate, although thick, volval sac. A pallid zone is developing inside the ends of the caps' marginal striations, but there is no dark zone at the inner ends of the striations—as in the adjacent picture of A. pachycolea (same page). In addition, the stipes of the "true" pachycolea illustration are darker due to closely placed gray fibrils on the stipes...continuing up to (or very close to) the stipe apex. The material described below in red is consistent with the type collection of A. constricta.
