A light uniformizing algorithm based on rectangular CPC is presented for micro-projection display. The designed optical engine with rectangular CPC consists of LED, fly's-eye lens and micro-display panel DMD. The light uniformity on the micro-display panel and energy efficiency of the optical engine with rectangular CPC is analyzed by means of software. Experimental results show that the proposed light uniformizing algorithm and system compared with other uniformizing light algorithm and system have advantages such as lesser capacity, lesser Etendue, higher light uniformity more than 92% and higher energy efficiency of 43% to meet the needs of micro-projection display.
A standard white light compounding algorithm based on combination of CCD illumination acquisition with computer control is presented for LEDs. The computer adjust and control the working current of LEDs by using three-color LEDs illumination acquired by CCD camera, achieved chromaticity coordinates error between compounded white light and standard white light D-65 less than the threshold beforehand setted by this technique, then acquiring needed standard white light. Compounded white light meet the chromaticity error demand that is able to be changed, at the same time the CCD illumination acquisition system is eliminated. The proposed algorithm improved the light energy utilization efficiency of LED, and eliminated the offset of central wavelength and chromaticity coordinates due to work current change of LEDs. Experimental results show that the proposed algorithm achieved lesser chromaticity error uv=0.001 relative to standard white light D-65, enhanced chromaticity uniformity of illumination field.

Experimental results show that the proposed algorithm achieved lesser chroma error uv=0.001 relative to standard white light D65, enhanced chroma uniformity of illumination field.
Pr60Ni25Al15 bulk metallic glass in a cuboid form with dimensions of 2 mm × 2 mm × 55 mm by copper mold casting method was cast. The dynamic viscosity near the glass transition region for Pr60Ni25Al15 was measured by three-point beam bending methods. The fragility parameter m and activation energy for viscous flow of the liquid sample were calculated to be: m = 31.66, E = 10689.17 K, respectively. It was shown that the supercooled liquid of Pr60Ni25Al15 alloy behaved much closer to strong glasses. The variation of active energy with temperature in supercooled liquid was analyzed. It was found that Kivelson’s super-Arrhenius equation is not suitable for description of the activation energy in a supercooled region of Bulk metallic glass, and there is a direct proportion between activation energy crystallization and activation energy of viscous flow.
Traditional UHP lamp had not been met for micro projection system need.An illumination system based LEDs for micro-projection system.It was made up of many LEDs,ellipsoidal reflector,taper light pipe and lens.LEDs are located on the left focal point of the ellipsoidal reflector,and the microstome of the taper light pipe located on right local plane of the ellipsoidal reflector.Angle of divergence of exit rays is about 20°.Ex- perimental results analyzed by TracePro software show that the proposed LED illumination system achieved higher uniformity at 90% and better energy efficiency 60%,and the designed system is simple and easy to come true.
A uniforming light algorithm based on trapezoid light mixing barrel is presented by for multi-LED illumination.The light energy output is less,the angle of divergency is larger for single LED.Multi-LED is used as illuminace light source,increasing effective irradiance area and light energy output for illuminance light source.Each side in the trapezoid light mixing barrel is coated by high reflectivity film,reflecting the incident rays without absorption,sufficiently mixing the incident light.The illumination uniformity at output area is improved by adjusting of the length of trapezoid mixing barrel.Experimental results analyzed by TracePro software show that the proposed uniforming light algorithm achieved higher uniformity at 90% and better energy efficiency than FF two-focus optical system.In addition,the designed system is simple and easy to come true.
We report a computer simulation study of the glass transition of water with SP2 potential. The temperature dependences of the diffusion coefficient and the excess entropy on cooling process are calculated. It is found that both the diffusion coefficient and the excess entropy show a break point at 160 K. Our results support the viewpoint that the glass transition temperature is 160 K. According to the calculated viscosity, we obtain a fragility index of water to be 326, which is much larger than the value accepted before.
