This research aims to analyze the implementation of school-based management at SMK Negeri 2 Jambi City. This type of research is qualitative research with a case study approach. This research uses interviews and documents to collect data. There were seven participants in this research, including the principal, school committee, deputy principal for curriculum, deputy principal for student affairs, school treasurer, two teachers, and students. The results of this research are that the appointment of School Based Management at SMK Negeri 2 Jambi City has been carried out well. First, starting from planning, namely student affairs arrangements from student registration to various activities that can be carried out in the student affairs department. Furthermore, curriculum management and school teaching programs are given the freedom to develop the curriculum. Furthermore, financial management and financing can be seen from the orderly determination of the school budget, the existence of financial transparency. Second, the implementation of SBM for educational staff at SMK Negeri 2 Jambi City is good because they have expertise in their respective fields. Facilities and infrastructure management can be seen from the school's efforts to provide facilities and infrastructure, maintenance and development so that it can help the teaching and learning process run smoothly. Third, the financial planning evaluation is conveyed to the school community and the school committee by holding a parent meeting. To foster interest in entrepreneurship, vocational school students need to be taught about business planning. This business planning material is packaged in the form of learning videos so that learning can achieve maximum results. The aim of this research is to describe the planning, design and development of learning videos, assess the theoretical, conceptual and practical feasibility of learning videos, describe peer responses and describe the attractiveness of business planning learning videos. The research method used is Research and Development. The research subjects were class X BDP students at SMKN 1 Muaro Jambi. The development model that is used as a reference is the Trollip and Allesi (2001) development model with the stages of Planning, Designing and Developing. The research results show that the material expert validation results are 96% in the very feasible category. And the media expert validation results were 85% in the very feasible category. And the teacher's response was obtained with a score of 90% in the very appropriate category. Then the field trial obtained a score of 91.5% in the very high category. So the business planning learning video is suitable for use by students of SMKN 1 Muaro Jambi as an interesting learning media with a score of 89.7%.
Technological pedagogical content knowledge (TPACK) has evolved as a valuable model for understanding teacher performances in technology use in education to support pedagogy with proper content knowledge for the success of teaching and learning. Many self-report questionnaires have been developed for TPACK. However, limited studies assessed the extension of the questionnaires for a specific context. This study aims to develop and validate a questionnaire scale to assess elementary school teachers’ TPACK and the Use of the Internet (UotI). We used the scale to report TPACK’s internal relationships and TPACK with UotI. The study measured whether the model reflects transformative perspectives concerning how the domains (TPACK and UotI) interact. The initial scale consisted of 43 items, validated and assessed for reliability through some procedures; face and content validity, pilot study, and measurement model in the partial least-square structural equation modeling (PLS-SEM). The scale was distributed to 1100 elementary school teachers. Findings inform that 40 scale items are valid and reliable for assessing teachers’ TPACK and UotI. The significant relationships of all factors support a transformative view of the scale.
The use of non-linear loads and the integration of renewable energy in electricity network can cause power quality problems, especially harmonic distortion. It is a challenge in the operation and design of the radial distribution system. This can happen because harmonics that exceed the limit can cause interference to equipment and systems. This study will discuss the determination of the optimal location and capacity of distributed generation (DG) and network reconfiguration in the radial distribution system to improve the quality of electric power, especially the suppression of harmonic distribution. This study combines the optimal location and capacity of DG and network reconfiguration using the particle swarm optimization method. In addition, this research method is implemented in the distribution system of Bandar Lampung City by considering the effect of using nonlinear loads to improve power quality, especially harmonic distortion. The inverter-based DG type used considers the value of harmonic source when placed. The combination of the proposed methods provides an optimal solution. Increased efficiency in reducing power losses up to 81.17% and %total harmonic distortion voltage (THDv) is below the allowable limit.
Dalam mencegah penyakit dan menjaga Kesehatan, setiap orang biasanya mengomsumsi obat. Namun banyak yang belum mengetahui kategori/jenis obat sebelum mengomsumsi obat tersebut. Masyarakat sebaiknya mengetahui kategori/jenis obat sebelum mengonsumsinya. Hal ini akan menimbulkan dampak negatif bagi kesehatan jika obat tersebut tergolong kedalam kategori/jenis obat keras. maka diperlukan klasifikasi kategori/jenis obat untuk membantu masyarakat agar dapat mendeteksi kategori/jenis obat. Penelitian ini mengusulkan untuk mengklasifikasi kategori/jenis obat menggunakan algoritma Support Vector Machine dengan tiga kernel yaitu linear, polynomial, dan RBF. Data terdiri dari lima variabel prediktor yaitu Usia, Jenis Kelamin, Tingkat Tekanan Darah, Tingkat Kolesterol, dan Na to K. jumlah data sebanyak dua ratus record. Hasil menunjukkan bahwa akurasi terbaik dari ketiga kernel SVM didapatkan ketika menggunakan kernel linear dan polinomial. berbeda dengan kernel RBF yang memiliki akurasi yang lebih rendah dari kedua kernel tersebut. kernel linear dan polinomial menghasilkan akurasi sebesar 95.0% sedangkan RBF menghasilkan akurasi sebesar 94.5%.
This research has a background of the gap between the need for learning resources and the availability of additional learning resources in schools. Where interesting learning resources are one way to help students achieve an understanding of the material. Plantae materials have quite a lot of material content and make students bored if they only learn using printed books and lead to lower interest and learning outcomes compared to other materials. The purpose of this study was to describe the planning, procedures for developing the encyclopedia plantae based on the local potential of the Musi Banyuasin district and the perceptions of teachers and students towards the developed encyclopedia product. This research includes the type of research and development or R&D that will produce a product. This encyclopedia research uses the ADDIE model where there are several processes, namely Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation and Evaluation. This encyclopedia is based on validation by material experts and learning media design experts with a "very valid" validity result. The subjects of this study were students in class X SMA Negeri 1 Bayung Lencir/ UPT SMAN 6 Musi Banyuasin and Biology teachers at SMA Negeri 1 Bayung Lencir/ UPT SMAN 6 Musi Banyuasin. Pemanfaatan pewarna alam dalam mewarnai tekstil memerlukan beberapa tahapan proses yang cukup panjang sehingga menjadi kelemahannya dibandingkan pewarna sintetis yang langsung siap pakai. Pengembangan gambir dalam bentuk pewarna siap pakai mempunyai prospek yang baik untuk dikembangkan. Pembuatan pewarna dari ekstrak daun gambir dilakukan melalui variasi perlakuan ukuran pori filter saat penyaringan (100, 200, 400 mesh) dan lama pemanasan (10, 30, 50 menit). Pewarna yang diperoleh memiliki rendemen, pH dan kadar tanin rata-rata 95,88%; 3,56; dan 20,89%. Setelah diaplikasikan untuk mewarnai kain katun diperoleh hasil optimal pada perlakuan ukuran pori filter 400 mesh dengan lama pemanasan 30 menit. Dari hasil pengujian diperoleh intensitas warna kain yang diwarnai adalah 10,9184, arah warna hijau kehitaman (L*, a*, b* berturut-turut 35,04; 4,60 dan 13,74). Pengujian ketahanan luntur warna pada pencucian dengan perubahan warna bernilai kurang sampai cukup (2-3), penodaan warna perhadap kain lain bernilai baik sampai sangat baik (4-5), dan terhadap gosokan dan sinar matahari bernilai baik sampai sangat baik (4 - 5).
Sebuah pusat pelatihan olahraga atletik yang akan menjadi salah satu faktor yang menentukan pesatnya perkembangan potensi dari atlet baik atlet usia dini hingga atlet senior. Pusat pelatihan olahraga atletik merupakan suatu wadah untuk melakukan pembinaan, pelatihan dan kejuaraan dibidang olahraga atletik. Cabang olahraga atletik sendiri meliputi, lari, lempar dan lompat. Provinsi Aceh sendiri menjadi salah satu provinsi yang memiliki potensi dibidang olahraga atletik cukup baik, potensi ini akan lebih maksimal apabila fasilitas penunjang saran dan prasarana dapat lebih memadai. Sebagai untuk sarana pelatihan, pembinaan dan perlombaan perancangan ini dilengkapi juga dengan sarana rekreasi yang dapat digunakan oeh publik sehingga secara tidak langsung sarana rekreasi ini nantinya dapat mampu memperkenalkan kegiatan olahraga atletik kepada masyarakat. Berdasarkan potensi dan permasalahan tersebut perancangan pusat pelatihan olahraga atletik dan rekreasi dengan pendekatan konsep high tech architecture, yang dianggap perlu dilakukan sebagai wadah yang mampu menampung kegiatan olahraga atletik dan rekreasi. Konsep arsitektur high tech architecture dapat diterapkan pada rancangan dengan memperlihatkan ekspresi kekuatan struktur, penggunaan warna yang cerah dan menggunakan sistem teknologi modern sehingga bangunan tersebut akan menjadi bangunan yang ikonik nantinya.
Harmonic Distortion is a problem that is a challenge in itself in maintaining the quality of electric power due to the use of nonlinear loads. Network reconfiguration is considered capable of improving distribution system performance by operating a tie switch until an optimal configuration is obtained. This study aims to optimize network reconfiguration techniques to minimize total channel power losses and % THDv using the Particle Swarm optimization (PSO) method which was tested on the ULP Way Halim Electrical System, Bandar Lampung City 88 buses. The optimization results obtained a decrease in the total power loss of the channel by 64.75 kW or 79.51% and reduced the % THDv value.
Changes in learning methods cause a crucial decrease in physical education needs and time of involvement in physical activity, which can affect individual stress levels. The objective of this study was to find out the comparison of physical activity patterns and stress levels between blended versus conventional learning methods. This study used quasi-experimental with a posttest-only approach with a control group design. The total subjects were 160 sports students from Universitas Jambi, who were divided into two groups (Experiment and Control) with average age of 21.69 ± 1.33 years, weight of 55.74 ± 6.48 kg, height of 170.10 ± 5.51 cm, and BMI of 21.06 ± 2.77 kg/m2. The results showed that the blended learning group had a lower level of physical activity when compared to their respective conventional groups. Furthermore, the stress level in the blended learning group had a moderate stress while the conventional group had a low-stress. Thus, the research findings have answered the question that physical activity can affect an individual’s stress level, and conventional learning methods are still the best method compared to blended learning methods. This finding can be used as a reference, especially for educators, both lecturers and teachers in schools, to be able to take a spiritual approach and invite students to do activities they like, such as exercise and recreation, to trigger a sense of enthusiasm in students to continue to improve their fitness degree. Therefore, this will have an impact on mental health, which can affect student stress levels much lower.
Pengendalian gulma secara penyiangan masih dirasakan kurang efektif dan efisien. Untuk mengatasi hal itu, kepada masyarakat mitra ditawarkan solusi metode pengendalian gulma secara mekanis yaitu dengan menggunakan Lalandak. Alat ini terbuat dari rangka besi yang dilengkapi dengan dua buah roda dan mata pisau yang berfungsi sebagai pemotong/pemutus dan pencabut bagian pupus dan akar gulma. Pada saat didorong, ada tekanan dari atas dan akan memotong pupus dan akar gulma sehingga merusak dan mematikan gulma. Lalandak tersebut dilengkapi dengan pelampung besi sehingga lalandak tersebut tetap berada di atas permukaan tanah/air. Adanya lalandak, proses pengendalian gulma bisa lebih efektif, efisien, serta dapat meningkatkan hasil tanaman padi sawah masyarakat di Desa Lieue Kecamatan Darussalam Aceh Besar. Hasil pengabdian memperlihatkan bahwa tim pengabdi telah berhasil membuat Lalandak dan petani dapat mengoperasionalkan lalandak tersebut untuk mengendalikan gulma pada tanaman padi sawah.
This study aims to elaborate the structural model of factors affecting access to digital technology in the context of vocational school teachers (VSTs) based on their geographical areas (urban and suburban). We used surveys for data collection; the instrument was translated, piloted, and validated. For the analysis, we utilized two partial least square structural equation model (PLS-SEM) main procedures, measurement, and structural model. Effect sizes (f 2 ) and coefficient determination (R 2 ) supported the relationship assessment of the structural model. The validity and reliability of the scale (urban and suburban) were valid and reliable based on the measurement model. Nine significant relationships were confirmed, perceived by urban and suburban teachers respectively. Meanwhile, one hypothesis was rejected. Urban teachers perceived stronger correlations than suburban teachers. By elaborating on the proposed model’s path analyses, this research can enhance the understanding of access to digital technology, especially in the context of vocational education in developing countries.
The condition of a busy restaurant sometimes makes it difficult for waiters to monitor and provide satisfactory service to customers. Customers must wave when they want to call waiters but feel ignored or not seen and will feel uncomfortable with the atmosphere and calm in the dining room. An Internet of Things (IOT) based desk status monitoring system is a concept that has the ability to transfer data over a network without the need for human-to-human interaction. This study proposes a table status monitoring system in IOT-based restaurants. This tool is made so that it can be applied to large rooms and crowded visitors. A device equipped with wireless communication to send data to the server, so that it can be monitored in real time. If the button on the tool is pressed, the system will send a signal to the relay to give a call sign warning to restaurant staff/waitresses. The results of this study indicate that status information from tables requesting service from waiters will respond to these service requests and help optimize service at restaurants so that they can satisfy their customers.
If policies are not thoroughly designed, technology integration may fail. As a result, users' perceptions of technology, especially access to digital technology, are critical for technology integration in education. This study aimed to develop and validate a scale to model factors affecting digital technology access for instructional use in Indonesian vocational schools. The study also reports the structural model of the path analysis and tests of differences based on geographical areas. A scale adapted from prior studies was established, validated, and examined for its validity and reliability. A total of 1355 responses were measurable; partial least squares structural equation modeling (PLS-SEM) and t-test procedures were applied for the data analysis. The findings informed that the scale was valid and reliable. For the structural model, the strongest relationship emerged between motivational access and skills access, while the lowest existed between material access and skills access. However, motivational access has an insignificant effect on instructional use. The t-test results show that geographical areas were significantly different regarding all involved variables.
Changes in learning methods at school can affect students' learning habits and activity patterns. This study aims to investigate the effect of hybrid learning compared to online learning on fitness level and body composition, specifically focusing on body mass index (BMI). The research method used was a quasi-experiment with a pretest-posttest control group design approach. The number of research subjects was 128 students with an average age of 10.35 ± 0.67 years, a body weight of 42.05 ± 8.97 kg, and a height of 142.84 ± 7.94 cm. The results showed that the post-test BMI score in the hybrid learning group decreased significantly, p < 0.05, by 19.69 kg/m2, and there was an increase in physical activity of 2.94 METs. Whereas in the online learning group, there was no significant difference in BMI or physical activity variables. The results of this study are expected to be a reference for teachers in schools and other educators to apply the hybrid method compared to online learning so that students' physical activity patterns can be maintained and continuously improved, which has an impact on body composition. The findings can also help in reducing physical activity patterns in big cities on the island of Sumatera and can be a discussion for researchers to create or modify more effective and efficient learning methods.
Integration of distributed generation (DG) based on the use of new renewable energy is considered to be able to increase the capability of the electric power distribution system. However, the use of inverter-based DG is not optimal, it can worsen the condition of the system, especially in terms of the spread of harmonic distortion which can damage the equipment. This is due to the inverter-based DG technology, apart from supplying electrical energy, DG also injects harmonic currents from existing semiconductor components. This research discusses optimization placement of inverter-based DG using the multi objective particle swarm optimization (MOPSO) method which was tested on the Unit Layanan Pelaksana (ULP) Way Halim 88-bus radial distribution system based on MALTAB 2020b to increase the efficiency of the electrical system by reducing losses and %THDv. The inverter-based DG placed on 24 bus points with a capacity of 690 kW can reduce losses by up to 12.74 kW or 14.96% and all %THDv values for each bus are below 5%.
This research aims to evaluate the implementation of a literacy program based on predetermined indicators, with the expectation that the findings will benefit future policy formulation. The research used a qualitative approach, specifically the Context, Input, Process, and Product (CIPP) evaluation. Data collection involved interviews and observations. The School Literacy Movement is a government initiative aimed at improving literacy levels in Indonesia. In the Muaro Jambi District, a primary school serving as an implementer of the School Literacy Movement experienced a decline in literacy education based on educational report card scores. After conducting the research, it was found that the school already had clear goals in the context, but it required additional inputs such as integrating the vision and mission to motivate teachers and students, establishing a School Literacy Team (TLS), implementing Standard Operating Procedures (SOP), and optimizing the use of facilities and resources. In the process, academic supervision and creativity in finding appropriate learning media were still needed, along with personalized guidance for students to identify their learning styles to ensure that the outcomes aligned with the intended goals. The research highlights the importance of various factors in implementing the literacy program, and the findings can contribute to improving future literacy policies in schools.
This study aims to provide an empirical report to understand the key predictors of Teachers' Social Media Use during Corona Virus Disease 2019 (TSMU Covid-19). A survey instrument adapted from the Unified Theory of Acceptance and Use of Technology (UTAUT) was established and validated. The instrument consisted of two sections. Section one collected demographic data, and section 2 gained data regarding performance expectancy, effort expectancy, social influence, facilitating conditions, behavioral intention, and TSMU Covid-19. The main data were collected from 1249 teachers from 3 Indonesian provinces. The data were computed through measurement and structural model supported by Multi-Group Analysis (MGA) in PLS-SEM. The findings informed that facilitating condition emerges as the strongest predictor of teachers' behavioral intention to use social media during Covid-19 distance education. TSMU Covid-19 was significantly predicted by behavioral intention. The findings also revealed that demographic information significantly moderates the hypothesized paths.
Abstrak. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis jumlah tenaga kerja, jam kerja, pendapatan usaha, upah tenaga kerja dan jumlah pembeli pada usaha kuliner di Kecamatan Ulee Kareng Kota Banda Aceh sebelum dan saat masa pandemi Covid-19. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan pada Bulan Juni dan Juli tahun 2021. Data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah data primer dan data sekunder. Data primer diperoleh dari survei dan wawancara langsung dengan pengusaha dan tenaga kerja yang berada di Coffee Shop Kecamatan Ulee Kareng. Data sekunder dikumpulkan dan diperoleh dari Badan Pusat Statistik dan instansi lainnya. Metode pengambilan sampel dilaksanakan dengan menggunakan metode purposive sampling (secara sengaja). Jumlah sampel yang digunakan pada penelitian ini yaitu sebanyak 15 usaha kuliner. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pandemi Covid-19 mempengaruhi menurunnya pendapatan usaha, upah karyawan, dan jumlah pembeli pada usaha kuliner Coffee Shop. Sebaliknya, pandemi Covid-19 tidak mempengaruhi penurunan jumlah tenaga kerja dan jam kerja pada usaha kuliner Coffee Shop Kecamatan Ulee Kareng Kota Banda Aceh.The Impact Of The Covid-19 Pandemic On The Culinary Business Of The Coffee Shop Ulee Kareng District Banda Aceh CityAbstract. This research was conducted in June and July 2021. The data used in this study were primary data and secondary data. Primary data were obtained from surveys and direct interviews with entrepreneurs and workers at the Coffee Shop, Ulee Kareng District. Secondary data is collected and obtained from the Central Statistics Agency and other agencies. The sampling method was carried out using the purposive sampling method (deliberately). The number of samples used in this study were 15 culinary businesses. The results showed that the Covid-19 pandemic affected the decline in business income, employee wages, and the number of buyers in the Coffee Shop culinary business. In contrast, the Covid-19 pandemic did not affect the decrease in the number of workers and working hours at the Coffee Shop culinary business, Ulee Kareng District, Banda Aceh City
Permasalahn mitra yang menjadi permasalahan adalah tentang kondisi kebugaraan yang masih rendah, serta minimnya pengetahuan untuk meningkatkan kebugaran jasmani, solusinya yang dilakukan yaitu memberikan bentuk latihan fisik dengan menggunakan permainan tradisional yang menarik. Metode yang akan digunakan dalam program ini adalah metode ekperiment dengan memberikan latihan kebugaran jasmani dengan permainan tradisional. Populasi pada kegiatan ini berjumlah 20 orang. Hasil kegiatan ini yaitu ada peningkatankebugaran jasmani remaja Desa Pagatan Besar Kecamatan Takisung Kabupaten Tanah Laut dengan menggunakan permainan tradisional.
